Alan Chinn

Mr. Chinn has 30 years of experience in operations management of RF and mixed signal integrated circuits, managing and developing RFIC manufacturing and test systems for communications and consumer products. Mr. Chinn brings to Glacier his wealth of experience in implementing and managing wafer fabrication, packaging and test development. He developed extensive synthesizer RFIC manufacturing systems at National Semiconductor, Tropian, Theta Microelectronics and Aspendos Communications. He holds a BSEE from California Polytechnic State University. Mr. Chinn has been previously responsible for shipping over 1B synthesizer products.

Alfred J. Stein

Mr. Stein is currently a Consultant and Advisor to startup companies in the high technology industry. He previously served at VLSI Technology, Inc. as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from 1982 until its acquisition by Philips Electronics in 1999. During his tenure, VLSI grew from a venture capital funded start-up to a publicly traded company with revenues in excess of $600 million and over 2,200 employees in more than 25 locations around the world. For more than 45 years, Mr. Stein has played a significant role in the high tech industry, including senior management assignments at both Texas Instruments and Motorola. Mr. Stein was with Texas Instruments for 18 years from 1958 through 1976; his last position was Vice President and General Manager for the Electronics Devices Division. Mr. Stein was with Motorola for five years where he was Vice President and Assistant General Manager of Motorola's Semiconductor Sector. He joined VLSI Technology from Arrow Electronics where he had been that company's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Stein is on the Board of Directors of two publicly traded companies, ESS Technology and Simtek Corporation. He also has served on the board of directors at Applied Materials, Radio Shack Corporation and was Chairman of the Board for the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA). He was on the Board of Trustees for St. Mary's University of Texas .

Dave Byrd - CTO

Mr. Byrd has over 22 years of RF, mixed signal and memory development experience at National Semiconductor, Silicon Wave and Cygnus Designs. Beginning at National Semiconductor, Mr Byrd was a developer on the industries 1st integrated PLL products as well as primarily responsible for the design of numerous RF transceivers including ultra low power keyless entry systems. At Glacier, Mr. Byrd is responsible for technology direction and new product architecture development. Mr. Byrd is a holder of 5 patents plus one pending. He holds a BSEE from Oregon State University.

Michael Phillips

Michael Phillips recently served as Senior Vice-President, Business Development and General Counsel at JDS Uniphase Corporation. He joined then client Uniphase Corporation in 1998 to assist Uniphase in its move to a leadership position in the fiber optic component and module market. He is now a senior partner in the law firm of Morrison & Foerster LLP specializing in corporate law and the representation of emerging and high technology businesses in all phases of their development. Mr. Phillips combines his experience of over 20 years as a commercial lawyer in Silicon Valley with the perspective gained from his five years at JDS Uniphase, where he was responsible for its entire legal department and the negotiation and successful completion of over 30 mergers, acquisitions and other strategic relationships for an aggregate consideration well in excess of $50 billion. Mr. Phillips holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a law degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

Mike Ure

Mike Ure has a wide variety of experience in all aspects of intellectual property and techology-centered transactions. He is a registered patent attorney. He is a former patent examiner (computers and software) for the US Patent and Trademark Office. Following the USPTO, he was a partner of Burns, Doane, Swecker & Mathis, a leading bi-coastal intellectual property firm (perenially ranked among the top five US patent prosecution firms prior to being merged with a large general-practice firm). Mr. Ure ran the Patent counsel office for Tropian, a Silicon Valley start-up, prior to its acquisition by Panasonic. Recently Mr. Ure was In-house counsel for Philips Electronics which spun out their semiconductor division as NXP Semiconductors, a world-wide top-ten semiconductor company, were he continued as In-house counsel. Most recently Mr Ure has formed Useful Arts, an intellectual property law firm.

Paul McCambridge - CEO, President

Mr. McCambridge has 23 years of experience in the RF industry selling,managing and designing RF systems for communications and consumer products. He is responsible for the strategy, business development and sales at Glacier. He developed extensive RF communication systems in the 80's and cell phone IC's in the 90's. In product marketing at Xindium, Zeevo, Tropian and VLSI Technology, Mr. McCambridge was responsible for product strategy and product management for GSM, CDMA, UWB and Bluetooth products. He holds a BSEE, MSEE, and MBA from Santa Clara University.

Scott Smyser

Scott Smyser is a recognized expert in the frequency control/timing device industry, and currently does market and product strategy consulting in the industry. He has consulted for some of the major timing device companies and worked with timing device startups, including the SiMEMS resonator startups, formerly serving as an advisor to one of these companies, SiTime. Most recently Mr. Smyser served as a Director and Principal Analyst for iSuppli, a leading market research and consulting firm for the electronics industry focusing on semiconductors and electronic components. There he managed communications and consumer research, in addition to leading the research for wireless technologies, including mobile handsets, WAN, WPAN, and wireless broadband. Over a five year period, he built the wireless service into the leading market research practice in the industry. Prior to iSuppli, Mr. Smyser was the Product Marketing Manager for crystals and oscillators at Epson Electronics America where he increased North American sales revenue by nearly $50 million. In this position, he successfully launched key, next generation products for the communications market, and was responsible for setting product strategies and analyzing market requirements. Previously, Scott was an Applications Engineer at Tektronix, where he supported test and measurement equipment sales. Mr. Smyser earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Thomas Luich

Mr. Luich has over 27 years of experience developing RF, mixed signal and memory devices. At Glacier, he is responsible for all aspects of Glacier's product development from technical definition through implementation and ultimately qualification. Mr. Luich's broad experience in RFIC development started with early programmable memory devices at Harris and Fairchild, moving to the industry's 1st integrated PLL products at National Semiconductor. At Cygnus Designs he specialized in One-Time-Programmable (OTP) memory development and integrated synthesizer development. Mr. Luich holds 20 patents plus 3 pending. He received his BSEE from the University of California, Davis.
