Dr. Miki Hori

Dr. Hori received her undergraduate degree from Duke University and her podiatric medical degree from The Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science / Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Hori completed her residency in foot surgery at the Medical Center of Independence in Missouri. She became certified by the American College of Podiatric Surgery in 2005. Medicine interested Dr. Hori at an early age, and she grew up with aspirations to become a health care provider. She chose podiatry because it allows her to provide comprehensive care, including both preventative and surgical treatment to people of all ages. She has lived in many metropolitan areas and has studied Japanese, French, German, and Spanish. She is married and has two children. She and her family enjoy their pets, music, travel, and the outdoors. Dr. Hori has over 20 years of experience in delivering foot and ankle care. She feels fortunate to call the beautiful Shenandoah Valley her home since 2001. She was voted Best Podiatrist in 2020, 2021 and 2022, in the Best of the Valley, Daily News Record Readers' Choice Award. James E. Lee

James E. Lee, Jr., D.P.M., is a graduate from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs CO with a BS in Biology and a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach FL with an MAS in Aeronautical Science. Following completion of his undergraduate studies he served proudly for his country as a missile launch officer for 4 years and a fighter navigator for 15 years. Dr. Lee retired from the United States Air Force in 2013 to pursue his medical career. He chose Podiatry as his second profession to continue to serve the community providing a variety of services to a diverse group of people. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland CA. Upon graduation from the California School of Podiatric Medicine, he completed a comprehensive three-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco CA. During that time he performed foot and ankle reconstructions, trauma surgery and diabetic limb salvage. During his final year he also served as chief resident. When Dr. Lee isn't working, he enjoys spending time with his family, which includes two dogs, and a cat as well as hiking, biking, camping, traveling, scuba diving and all things involving remote control planes and cars.
