Michael Cook

Michael is the Managing Director of the Highland Employee Benefits division of the Highland Advisory Group. Michael specializes in the implementation, administration and consulting of Employee Benefit Plans. Michael graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Finance. Michael began his insurance career in 1985 working with the Thomas C. Cook Agency. He works closely with each client in regards to the selection, implementation of the benefit plans and with the clients in regards to on-going issues such as claims and services, legal compliance and administration simplification. Michael holds the THRP (Tribal Human Resources Professionals) Certification, as well as a member of the National Native American Human Resource Association. Michael's goal is to provide the firms clients with cost-effective and innovative business solutions in all aspects of Employee Benefits. The firm strives to create long term relationships with its clients to achieve the highest level of quality and service.

Sandy Cook

Sandy has been with Cook Financial Services for 30 years. Prior to that she was Assistant Office Manager for Blake Moffet and Towne in Phoenix. Sandy's expertise has been in Business Administration, Representative Assistant and currently Relationship Manager. She is our "go-to-gal" in the office. Sandy's free time is spent being a wife, mother, grandmother, care giver, golfer and artist.

Thomas Cook

Tom began his career in Life Insurance and Employee Benefits in 1969 with Northwestern National Life (now ING ReliaStar). A native of Illinois, Tom moved to Arizona in 1973 and expanded his business to include Retirement Planning. His main goal is to assist his clients in accumulation and distribution of their wealth whether it is the private or public sector. Tom's expertise is in retirement planning in the accumulation and the distribution phases. Tom is also well versed in Social Security as well as all retirement programs that are offered through any private or public entity. Tom has become well versed in all aspects of the Arizona Retirement System and also with 403(b)(7), 457,401(k) and 401(a) Plans. Tom's favorite pass time is golf. He and his wife, Sandy, reside in Chandler. They have 3 children and 3 grand-children.
