HISPANIC COUNSELING CENTER

The Hispanic Counseling Center (HCC) was established in 1977 by the Nassau County Department of Drug and Alcohol Addiction and the Nassau County Youth Board to provide substance abuse treatment services and services for children and adolescents in response to the county's growing Latino population. Over the intervening years, the agency has grown and expanded, adding programs to respond to the community's most urgent needs... Hispanic Counseling Center is an award-winning, multi-service agency serving more than 1,500 individuals per month... Through the work of our well-trained, compassionate staff, the Hispanic Counseling Center provides a safe haven for individuals, leading to greater self-sufficiency, community inclusion and the opportunity to thrive. HCC is a recipient of the Five Star Award from NYS OASAS and the Agency of the Year Award from the National Association of Social Workers.
