With our historic building, the Central Honesdale congregation inherits a distinct legacy. We are both proud and humbled to be the the stewards of this legacy. We carry on the tradition of inspiring worship, quality Christian education, and life giving mission. It's a tradition that was established when the Methodists gathered in Honesdale in the early 19th Century. We are a living congregation with a vision of the future. Our congregation is committed to "seek the welfare of our town. . . and pray for it;" (Jer. 33:3) for we believe that we will find our own welfare in our community, while we live here.
