TIBML

The TIBML is currently equipped with a 3 MV NEC tandem accelerator, two ion sources, three beamlines, and five endstations that provide state-of-the-art capabilities. Under the direction of the Director of the Tennessee Ion Beam Materials Laboratory and Associate Professor Khalid Hattar, the laboratory is rapidly expanding the TIBML capabilities with the addition of a highly modified JEOL 2100 transmission electron microsocpe (TEM) with python control and machine learning based analysis capabilities. The facility will also be adding in the near future a 300 kV ion implanter, two low energy ion guns (5 and 20 kV), and a in-situ nanomechanical capability...
