Jazz Semiconductor, part of the TowerJazz group, is an ITAR registered on-shore supplier participating in numerous U.S. government programs and partnerships through its Newport Beach, CA facility. To further meet aerospace and defense customers' needs, in July 2013, Jazz Semiconductor Trusted Foundry (JSTF) a wholly owned subsidiary of Jazz Semiconductor was created and accredited as a Category 1B Trusted Supplier by the United States Department of Defense's (DoD's) Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) as a manufacturer of semiconductors that may be used in trusted applications.

Roger L. Van Art

Roger was appointed to the JSTF Advisory Board in 2015 to drive the business within the defense contractor sector as well as help navigate Government interests. He brings 38 years of a wide range of talents to the JSTF team, including senior management experiences at Aeroflex as VP of Strategic Business, and Jazz Semiconductor Newport Beach as GM of the Mil/Aero business unit. In addition, Roger performed a number of roles for foundries such as IBM and INMOS, as well as fabless companies such as Lattice Semiconductor and Compaq Computer. Over a decade of US Government experience, working in the Directorate of Science & Technology for the CIA, has given him a balanced vantagepoint, having served both sides of the business.

Scott L. Jordan - President

Mr. Jordan is a member of the Trusted Supplier Steering Group (TSSG). TSSG is a self-formed alliance of companies that have been accredited by Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) to provide Trusted Microelectronics products and services to Government programs. TSSG is hosted by NDIA (National Defense Industrial Association).

Tonya L. Carroll

  • Facility Security Officer
Ms. Carroll was appointed JSTF Facility Security Officer in February 2014. Previously she served as JSTF Assistant Facility Security Officer since August 2013. Ms. Carroll manages the proactive security program at JSTF and ensures the Corporation is compliant with all government regulations concerning all security administrative functions in support of a comprehensive National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Since 2005, Ms. Carroll served as a Facility Security Officer and/or a security specialist with various defense contractors including, J5 Systems, Keysoft Systems, La Jolla Logic, Comex Scientific, Nu-trek, Inc, and Solute Consulting. Her experience dates back to employment at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 1990.
