Jeff Karl began early as an artist, delving into the mediums of oil painting and pen and ink drawings. He showed much promise and was obviously a gifted artist. Art teachers early on encouraged his budding talent. Jeff enrolled at the mountain campus of Northern Arizona University with a major in art in 1975 and was inspired by some of the innovative art professors who were then employed by the college. Jeff also had always been drawn to fine cars and found himself in the role of backyard mechanic, with one restoration project or another...
