KLEIN DESIGN - Key Persons
Job Titles:
- Account / Sales Manager and Tech Support
As you might expect from someone who handles sales, account management, and tech support, Edmund brings a variety of skills to the Klein team. In his 7+ years with the company, he's become fluent in the world of embroidery, vinyl cutting and printing, apparel, and so much more. Although his primary role lies in helping us to find new clients and keeping them happy, he has previously held positions as a consultant, project manager, and even VP of Operations for a major corporation since graduating from the University of Illinois. Edmund enjoys golf, fishing, and demolition derby in his spare time.
Job Titles:
- Production and Purchasing Manager
Our Production and Purchasing Manager Katie Lou is a veteran of both Klein Design and Derbytees.com. The Northern Illinois University graduate has spent time in a number of different roles within the company, but excels in her current position, which allows her to take advantage of a keen eye for detail. In addition to being a key member of the Klein Design team, she also happens to be Mark's younger sister. She takes particular pride in the fact that while she used to have to beg to hang out with her older brother, he now has to pay for her time. Away from work, she enjoys camping with her husband, playing with their dogs, and participating in slow pitch softball.
As our founder, CEO, and lead designer, Mark serves as the heart and soul of Klein Design, Inc.. In addition to serving as a creative director and setting the tone for our artistic work, he is largely responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company. With more than a decade of experience in graphic design, he found his love of business design while working on a course project at Bradley University. When he's not looking for new ways to grow Klein Design, Mark combines his loves of art and demolition derby competitions through his nationally-known apparel line, Derbytees.com.
While holding the official title of Office Assistant, Shelly Blank is quick to point out that her real job at Klein Design is to help out wherever she is needed. With nearly three decades of office experience, and an education that includes clerical and accounting training, we are continually finding new ways to keep her busy. When she's not busy keeping our company running like a well-tuned engine, Shelly enjoys camping and the outdoors.
