Lakeshore Foundation is a leader in sports science for athletes with disabilities within the U.S. and around the world. Utilizing expertise in exercise physiology, biomechanics, sport psychology, and nutrition, we provide services for local Lakeshore athletes as well as U.S. National team members in sports including wheelchair rugby, wheelchair basketball, sailing, swimming, power soccer, wheelchair tennis, and equestrian... Our team is the heart of our organization and their dedication and passion for our members, supporters and each other are what make Lakeshore thrive... Advocacy and policy work involves not just informing the public about issues and making or changing rules, but it also makes sure these rules are put into action and followed. At Lakeshore, we try to persuade leaders to change certain rules, public opinions, or attitudes, and to gather resources for social change.
