La Porte Independent School District covers 55 square miles in the cities of La Porte, Shoreacres, Morgan's Point, and portions of Deer Park. Each of our 12 campuses, between 2015 and 2018, were either renovated or rebuilt entirely as a result of a $260 million bond approved by voters in 2014. (This followed a districtwide project, approved by voters in 2005, that included a new operations center, and an Instructional Technology Center designed to withstand Category 4-5 storm.)
