The ship repair facilities situated at Cospicua and previously operated by Malta Shipyards Ltd were taken over by Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd in June 2010. Since then, Malta Shipyards Ltd has been placed into liquidation and, therefore, it is no longer operating in the ship repair business.
