The sole owner of Marengo Ridge since 1980, Bob has been involved with the course since its inception in the 1960's. "To all of you who have played Marengo Ridge Golf Club, we say thank you. Janet joined the Marengo Ridge team in 2006. "I am very passionate about Marengo Ridge. Seeing people having a good time, enjoying their golf experience, and most of all interacting with the patrons is the best part of my day."
The game of golf has been a passion of mine since I was 7 years old. Growing up every summer, I would get a season pass at Wing Park and play all season long. The game of golf for me as an early teen allowed me to win junior tournaments for the City of Elgin, Illinois, IJGA, and qualify for the Junior Players Championship Competition. During those years, I achieved two top ten finishes at the Illinois High School Association Golf State Tournament, and then achieved a Division 1 Golf Scholarship to Murray State in Kentucky. Outside of college, I began training with some of the most recognized head golf professionals as their assistant, one having been labeled Golf Digest's Top 10 Instructors in the state, Jimmy Wheeler. That same year, I passed the Illinois PGA Section Playability Test (PAT.). For the last 10 years my company, Priceless Golf Instruction, has been affiliated exclusively as the in-house instructor for Swing Masters Driving Range. Over the years, I voluntarily help organize and participate as the "Beat The Pro" for the annual Northern Kane County Golf Outing. As the head golf Instructor at Marengo Ridge Golf Club, my hope is to inspire individuals at all levels. From the beginner to the seasoned player, I take pride in introducing the game of golf, developing solid foundations both mentally and physically, and allowing players to become the best they can be.

Laurie has been a part of the Marengo Ridge Golf Club family for many years. "I pride myself in getting to know customers, listening to their needs, then doing everything I can to meet their needs." Laurie currently is the Outside Events Coordinator and Human Resources Manager for the Club.
