Blake B. Hegeman serves as General Counsel of The Long & Foster Companies, Inc., a member of the HomeServices of America family of companies. In this role, Hegeman advises Company leaders, employees and agents on a wide range of corporate, regulatory and general real estate law matters. He also regularly interacts with HomeServices of America on corporate governance and compliance matters.
Hegeman brings a wealth of legal experience to his current role. He served as an attorney with Virginia Realtors® (formerly the Virginia Association of Realtors®) for over a decade. Following Hegeman's time at VR, he engaged in the private practice of law for several years. He primarily focused on real estate, corporate, regulatory, and nonprofit association law. Hegeman also served as Outside General Counsel for Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. This made his transition to an in-house attorney for Long & Foster seamless.
Hegeman was re-elected in 2021 by other Virginia real estate attorneys to serve a third three-year term on the 12-member Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar's Real Property Section and is Co-Chair of the Ethics Subcommittee. He has taught classes on real property disclosures to attorneys around the Commonwealth and contributed articles on real estate law to the Section's publication The Fee Simple.
In 2022, Hegeman was elected by other corporate attorneys to serve on the 12-member Virginia State Bar Corporate Counsel Section Board of Governors. The Section's primary goals are to facilitate communication and the exchange of information and ideas among Virginia attorneys who work in an in-house setting. Hegeman is a former member of the American Society of Association Executive's Legal Section Council. Additionally, he was a guest lecturer on real estate law at Regent University Law School and Virginia Commonwealth University.
Hegeman graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech and attended the University of Richmond School of Law.

Over his 15-year career, Clint has managed the sales and marketing of more than 120 communities in five states and the District of Columbia, encompassing a total sales value in excess of $4 billion.

Dawn Bradley is Senior Regional Vice President for the Richmond and Charlottesville/Staunton regions. In this executive leadership role, Bradley oversees the region's operations and business development, working closely with its Realtors and managing brokers to ensure continued success.
A part of Long & Foster's team for almost two decades, Dawn entered the real estate industry after a successful 25-year career in banking. As a former bank president, she consistently dealt with consumer, commercial and industrial real estate projects. She segued that experience into a real estate career, quickly advancing into management.
Prior to becoming regional manager, Dawn led Long & Foster's Grove office, as well as its Stony Point location. During her tenure at these offices, she contributed greatly to their overall sales growth and recruitment efforts. She leverages her expertise in management, business development and ethics to help both Long & Foster's agents, as well as their clients, achieve real estate success.
Dawn is active in the local Realtor community. She served on the Richmond Association of Realtors (RAR) Board of Directors and was Past President of the RAR Board. She is an active member and chair of the RAR Philanthropic Committee, served on the RAR Legislative Committee and has been involved in many other community organizations, including the Midlothian and Richmond YMCAs.

Greg Scott was promoted to senior vice president in 2021, and previously held the position of vice president of branch services for Long & Foster Real Estate since 2014. He is responsible for supporting branch management and sales associates throughout the company's seven-state region and the District of Columbia.
Scott first joined Long & Foster Real Estate after becoming an agent in October 2002, and has worked as a full time Realtor since that time. He began his career as a sales agent at Long & Foster's College Park office, and then transferred to the Bowie office, both located in Maryland. He then managed Long & Foster's Capitol Hill office in Washington, D.C., and the Bethesda Gateway office in Maryland. Scott specializes in technology coaching, internet marketing and business planning.
Prior to joining Long & Foster, Scott worked for Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, Md., as the landscape maintenance division sales manager; at The Behnke Nursery Companies in Potomac, Md., as department manager; and owned a landscape company for several years. He worked extensively in landscape design, installation and maintenance of native and exotic trees, shrubs and grasses.
Born in Washington, D.C., and a lifelong resident of Maryland, Scott received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland in Turf and Urban Agronomy in 2000. He is a licensed real estate broker in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. He is a member of Long & Foster's Gold Team and has been named to the company's President's Club, Chairman's Club and Founder's Club. His team, Team Scott, received the top team in sales award for the Southern Maryland region in 2005. He has served as a Buffini Certified Mentor and is a Sweathog graduate. He is an avid skier who loves being outdoors and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and his two sons, Ryan and Justin.

As Chief Financial Officer and part of the leadership team, Greg guides all accounting and finance operations across the Long & Foster Companies. He takes the lead on evaluating business development opportunities, determining the best financial strategies for current and future initiatives.
With more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, Greg is an expert at using data and metrics to chart paths to the best possible outcomes. He recognizes Long & Foster's entrepreneurial culture is one of its greatest strengths, and his vision plays a key role in keeping our companies at the forefront in the ever-changing real estate marketplace.
Prior to joining Long & Foster, Greg served in numerous leadership positions with the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae). He rose within that organization to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Operations & Technology, and held other positions with responsibility for business strategy, accounting operations and financial management. He also has worked as an assistant chief accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He started his accounting career with Deloitte & Touche.
Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech and is a native of Virginia. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He and his wife live in Ashburn, Virginia, and they have two children.

Jackie Thiel is president of Long & Foster Real Estate, overseeing the company's 200+ offices and 9,000+ agents across eight states and the District of Columbia. She is responsible for the organization's strategic business direction and operations, ensuring the firm delivers area consumers with the best service and expertise for all their real estate needs. Long & Foster Real Estate is part of The Long & Foster Companies, which also includes Prosperity Home Mortgage, Mid-States Title, Long & Foster Insurance, Insight Home Inspections, Tailored Move and HomeServices Property Management.
Appointed President of Long & Foster Real Estate in 2023, Jackie brings over three decades of industry expertise to her position. She has a demonstrated ability to balance strategic decisions and fiscal oversight to drive operational performance and company growth. During her tenure at Long & Foster, she has established a reputation as a positive, growth-minded professional who is dedicated to building a culture of mentoring and support at all levels. Prior to her appointment as President, Jackie served as executive vice president of general brokerage operations for Long & Foster Real Estate. In that position, she focused on sales and business growth, recruitment strategies, agent development and strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Jackie previously held the position of vice president and regional manager for Long & Foster Real Estate's Southwest Virginia, Richmond and Hampton Roads region from 2010 to 2014. Additional leadership positions Jackie has held in her time at Long & Foster include vice president of regional development, vice president of career development and assistant vice president, executive administration. Jackie began her career in real estate with Bowers, Nelms & Fonville in Richmond, Va., which was purchased by Long & Foster in 1998.

Karen Kidwell serves as senior vice president and regional manager for Long & Foster Real Estate, overseeing the Northern Virginia and West Virginia region. Having joined Long & Foster in 2004, Kidwell is well known within the industry in the Northern Virginia area. She was named to her current position in March 2015.
Kidwell has been in sales and marketing for more than 25 years and chose real estate as her second career after spending many years working in commercial and government contracting as well as consulting. She employed many of the skills she learned in those positions to her real estate career and has earned numerous awards from the industry as well as from Long & Foster. In 2010, Kidwell earned an assistant manager position at Long & Foster's Herndon and Reston North Hills office and later became manager of the company's Falls Church office in 2012 and its Annandale office in 2013.
Kidwell graduated from Radford University with degrees in business and education and she holds the real estate designations of Graduate, Realtor Institute, Accredited Buyer's Representative and ePro marketing specialist. She belongs to the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors and is a graduate of NVAR's Leadership Institute. As our Chief Marketing Officer and part of our leadership team, Kathleen will guide us in strengthening Long & Foster's position as the preeminent brand in East Coast real estate. She will lead our enterprise marketing to support our agents and ensure they have the best resources available to grow their businesses. With her guidance, we'll evaluate our overall marketing programs and services and measure the return on investment garnered by both our company and agents. Kathleen also will look to enhance communications across the organization, streamlining our messaging to better connect with and inform our agents and employees.
Kathleen brings extensive experience in real estate and general brokerage marketing, as well as a background with creative agencies. She prides herself on connecting a company's core strengths with what its clients-be they agents or consumers-want and need, with a focus on adding immediate value and getting things done.
Prior to joining Long and Foster, she served as CMO at Washington Fine Properties. There, she expanded the brokerage's advertising programs, overhauled its social media presence and implemented new strategies to make the brand more approachable and its agents more successful. She also previously led marketing and branding for Wydler Brothers Real Estate, when they were part of Long & Foster several years ago, as well as when they launched their own brokerage.
Kathleen also brings more than a decade of creative agency expertise at the senior leadership level. During her agency tenure, she led comprehensive, cross-platform marketing and branding campaigns for major national accounts, such as CoStar, Sigma Tau Pharmaceuticals and a Marriott division.
Kathleen is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Business Administration. She serves on the board of A Wider Circle and has led successful initiatives (such as the 1000 Bed Challenge and truck sponsorship) with real estate brokerages to provide in-kind donations to the charity. She plans to continue this effort at L&F. Kathleen lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with her husband and three children.
Katie joined her mom, Mary Beth, in real estate after she graduated from the University of Denver in 2005. Katie is the transaction coordinator for our team, listing manager, and helps out as a buyer's agent when needed. She has extensive knowledge of the real estate process and enjoys helping guide our clients through the transaction. Katie also negotiates all of our short sales. Katie lives in the Bristow area with her husband Ben, their three daughters- McKenna, Ainsley & Brooke, and their lab- Dixie.

As Senior Vice President of General Brokerage Operations, Lee McGinnis oversees the Professional Development and Branch Services divisions of Long & Foster Real Estate. She works collaboratively across the organization to ensure Long & Foster provides its leaders, agents and teams with the tools and resources needed to drive their businesses and best support their clients. A strategic leader, Lee has an innate ability to connect with people and bring them together under a shared goal.
Originally licensed in 1986, Lee joined Long & Foster in 2017 as its Director of Agent Development. She quickly progressed in her career at Long & Foster, earning a promotion to Director of Professional Development in 2018 and then Vice President of Professional Development in 2020. During this time, Lee achieved tremendous results for Long & Foster and its agents. She helped the company earn the exclusive Training magazine Apex award for exceptional training programs. Lee also seamlessly pivoted Long & Foster's in-person training to virtual during the pandemic, and she continually developed new and engaging content to support recruitment and retention efforts.
Lee has extensive industry experience, and prior to joining Long & Foster, she worked with competing local brokerages in a variety of roles, from sales associate and team lead to training director and branch manager. She also has led her own business, health and personal coaching and consulting firm. Further diversifying her career expertise, Lee also worked in leadership roles in the media and sports industries. She led market expansion and membership programs for a successful women's golf organization, growing the association into 30 new territories, and she managed corporate marketing and sales for a media outlet.
Lee is a licensed Virginia Realtor and Associate Broker. She also earned professional coaching certifications from the International Coaching Federation and the International Coach Academy, as well as nutrition certifications from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the Nutritional Therapy Association.

Lonnie Plaster serves as senior vice president and regional manager for Long & Foster Real Estate, overseeing the South Carolina region. He also leads the company's Agent Services Group, a support program designed to assist agents in the functions needed to carry out, maintain and grow their businesses.
With nearly 30 years of real estate experience, Lonnie built and sold two prosperous real estate companies - the second of which, Cowne, Odend'hal & Plaster, was acquired by Long & Foster in 2003. Since joining the company that year, Lonnie has managed several of Long & Foster's real estate offices including the McLean office in the Northern Virginia region, which achieved more than $1 billion in sales in both 2013 and 2014. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Long & Foster's D.C. Metro and Montgomery County, Md. regions. He also spent time working in the Charleston, S.C., real estate market.
Lonnie grew up in the Warrenton, Va., area and studied finance at Radford University. He is active in the real estate industry and throughout his career, he has served on numerous real estate boards and committees, including President of the Prince William Association of Realtors and Director for the National Association of Realtors. He has earned multiple sales and leadership awards from the industry, as well as from Long & Foster.

Michael Gorman is the Senior Vice President of Long & Foster's Corporate Real Estate Services Division. He is responsible for the company's corporate relocation business, broker-to-broker business, partner business, eReal Estate (web) business, and Long & Foster's Smartmove affinity program. He also oversees Metro Referral Associates, Long & Foster's 2,000 agent referral brokerage. Finally, he manages Long & Foster's Welcome Center, which provides customer service and inside sales for real estate operations, relocation services, Insight Home Inspections and Tailored Move.
Mr. Gorman has significant front-line real estate experience, having managed real estate agents for many years and has conducted over 500 real estate transactions as an agent himself. He is the founder of Corus Home Realty, a technology-forward brokerage named to the Inc 500 and later acquired by Long & Foster.
Mr. Gorman previously held management positions with AOL and Time Warner, and has also been involved with several early-stage startups. He has done extensive volunteer work, providing consulting services for multiple housing-related nonprofits in the Washington area. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, and the Relocation Directors' Council.
Mr. Gorman holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He resides with his family in Arlington, Virginia.

Nick D'Ambrosia joined The Long & Foster Companies in 2009 and currently serves as the company's Principal Broker/Broker of Record. While with Long & Foster he has also served as Senior Vice President, Training and Career Development. He has been committed to the real estate industry since establishing his career in 1973 and has served in many diverse positions. Some of his current roles include serving as the National Association of Realtors' Liaison for Large Broker Relations, serving as an executive team member of NAR as well as serving as the governor-appointed chairman of the Maryland Real Estate Commission.
Prior to joining Long & Foster, D'Ambrosia worked in a multitude of leadership roles. Some of them include serving as president and broker for GMAC Real Estate/Real Estate Service Center, as vice president of operations and vice president of property management for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Mid-Atlantic, as senior vice president for Coldwell Banker Stevens Realtors, and as senior vice president and general manager for Coldwell Banker Nyman Realty. He was also a founding member and chairman of the Metropolitan Information Systems, Inc., the largest multiple listing service in North America.
D'Ambrosia has been closely involved with NAR throughout his career, including as a member of the NAR Enlarged Leadership Team, the NAR Executive Committee, the NAR Board of Directors and numerous additional committees, task forces and presidential advisory groups. Additionally, he served as president of the Maryland Association of Realtors, the Prince George's County Association of Realtors, the Prince George's County Federation of Associations, and as director of the Southern Maryland Association of Realtors.
The former dean of the Maryland Realtors Institute, D'Ambrosia holds the advanced real estate designations of Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager, Certified Real Estate Specialist and Graduate of the Realtors Institute. He was twice named Realtor of the Year by the Prince George's County Association of Realtors, and also received their Educator of the Year Award and their Code of Ethics Award. He was the 1988 Realtor of the Year for the Maryland Association of Realtors and was awarded their Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006. Patrick Bain is the president and chief executive officer of The Long & Foster Companies. He guides the strategic direction and operations of the organization's business lines: real estate, property management, mortgage, settlement services, insurance, moving, inspections, corporate real estate services, and new development real estate sales and marketing. In addition, he oversees six enterprise functions: human resources, legal, marketing, information services, finance and facilities.
Patrick joined The Long & Foster Companies in May 2010, as president of the insurance and home warranty businesses. In 2018, he added Long & Foster Property Management and Long & Foster Rental Service Center to his responsibilities. He successfully restructured and rebranded the property management business to HomeServices Property Management in 2022.
In 2021, Patrick started Insight Home Inspections to add to the suite of real estate services that Long & Foster agents can provide their clients. Insight was launched in early 2022 and is expanding across Long & Foster's service area. In addition to the property services group, Patrick also oversaw Long & Foster's home warranty strategic partnerships.
During his tenure at Long & Foster, Patrick has become widely known as a collaborative, innovative and strategic leader, and in 2023, he was promoted to president and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies. He brings extensive industry expertise to the role, as well as an established record of driving business performance and delivering best-in-class customer experiences.
His expertise in the insurance and financial services industry spans more than 30 years. Prior to joining Long & Foster, he was vice-president and general manager for Howard Hanna Insurance Services, headquartered in Pittsburgh with operations throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and West Virginia. Under his leadership, Howard Hanna's insurance and home warranty businesses grew dramatically and were recognized nationally by the insurance and real estate industries. During Patrick's tenure, Howard Hanna Insurance was ranked the No. 1 independent real estate-related insurance and home warranty company for 2009 and 2010 by REAL Trends, an industry ranking service.
In 1998, Patrick founded and led sales and marketing efforts for InsRateDirect.com, an internet insurance startup specializing in home and auto insurance products, lead generation, and distribution. He was also the managing partner at The McDonnell Bain Group, an independent insurance agency in the Baltimore metropolitan area. McDonnell Bain was awarded Maryland's New Agency of the Year in 1999 by Erie Insurance Group. Patrick negotiated the successful sale of both companies to larger insurance entities in 2002.
Patrick has been a member of advisory boards of many national and regional insurance carriers throughout the United States. The insurance agencies he has led over the years received national and regional performance rewards, including four-times awarded Insurance Agency of the Year by Travelers Insurance. He is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He currently lives in Reston, Virginia.
