Blake B. Hegeman serves as General Counsel of The Long & Foster Companies, Inc., a member of the HomeServices of America family of companies. In this role, Hegeman advises Company leaders, employees and agents on a wide range of corporate, regulatory and general real estate law matters. He also regularly interacts with HomeServices of America on corporate governance and compliance matters. Hegeman brings a wealth of legal experience to his current role. He served as an attorney with Virginia Realtors® (formerly the Virginia Association of Realtors®) for over a decade. Following Hegeman's time at VR, he engaged in the private practice of law for several years. He primarily focused on real estate, corporate, regulatory, and nonprofit association law. Hegeman also served as Outside General Counsel for Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. This made his transition to an in-house attorney for Long & Foster seamless. Hegeman was re-elected in 2021 by other Virginia real estate attorneys to serve a third three-year term on the 12-member Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar's Real Property Section and is Co-Chair of the Ethics Subcommittee. He has taught classes on real property disclosures to attorneys around the Commonwealth and contributed articles on real estate law to the Section's publication The Fee Simple. In 2022, Hegeman was elected by other corporate attorneys to serve on the 12-member Virginia State Bar Corporate Counsel Section Board of Governors. The Section's primary goals are to facilitate communication and the exchange of information and ideas among Virginia attorneys who work in an in-house setting. Hegeman is a former member of the American Society of Association Executive's Legal Section Council. Additionally, he was a guest lecturer on real estate law at Regent University Law School and Virginia Commonwealth University. Hegeman graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech and attended the University of Richmond School of Law.

Dawn Bradley is Senior Regional Vice President for the Richmond and Charlottesville/Staunton regions. A part of Long & Foster's team for almost two decades, Dawn entered the real estate industry after a successful 25-year career in banking. As a former bank president, she consistently dealt with consumer, commercial and industrial real estate projects. She segued that experience into a real estate career, quickly advancing into management. Prior to becoming regional manager, Dawn led Long & Foster's Grove office, as well as its Stony Point location. Greg Scott was promoted to senior vice president in 2021, and previously held the position of vice president of branch services for Long & Foster Real Estate since 2014. He is responsible for supporting branch management and sales associates throughout the company's seven-state region and the District of Columbia. Scott first joined Long & Foster Real Estate after becoming an agent in October 2002, and has worked as a full time Realtor since that time. He began his career as a sales agent at Long & Foster's College Park office, and then transferred to the Bowie office, both located in Maryland. He then managed Long & Foster's Capitol Hill office in Washington, D.C., and the Bethesda Gateway office in Maryland. Scott specializes in technology coaching, internet marketing and business planning. Prior to joining Long & Foster, Scott worked for Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, Md., as the landscape maintenance division sales manager; at The Behnke Nursery Companies in Potomac, Md., as department manager; and owned a landscape company for several years. He worked extensively in landscape design, installation and maintenance of native and exotic trees, shrubs and grasses. Born in Washington, D.C., and a lifelong resident of Maryland, Scott received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland in Turf and Urban Agronomy in 2000. He is a licensed real estate broker in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. He is a member of Long & Foster's Gold Team and has been named to the company's President's Club, Chairman's Club and Founder's Club. Karen Kidwell serves as senior vice president and regional manager for Long & Foster Real Estate, overseeing the Northern Virginia and West Virginia region. Having joined Long & Foster in 2004, Kidwell is well known within the industry in the Northern Virginia area. She was named to her current position in March 2015. Kidwell has been in sales and marketing for more than 25 years and chose real estate as her second career after spending many years working in commercial and government contracting as well as consulting. She employed many of the skills she learned in those positions to her real estate career and has earned numerous awards from the industry as well as from Long & Foster. In 2010, Kidwell earned an assistant manager position at Long & Foster's Herndon and Reston North Hills office and later became manager of the company's Falls Church office in 2012 and its Annandale office in 2013. As our Chief Marketing Officer and part of our leadership team, Kathleen will guide us in strengthening Long & Foster's position as the preeminent brand in East Coast real estate. With her guidance, we'll evaluate our overall marketing programs and services and measure the return on investment garnered by both our company and agents. Prior to joining Long and Foster, she served as CMO at Washington Fine Properties. There, she expanded the brokerage's advertising programs, overhauled its social media presence and implemented new strategies to make the brand more approachable and its agents more successful. She also previously led marketing and branding for Wydler Brothers Real Estate, when they were part of Long & Foster several years ago, as well as when they launched their own brokerage. Kathleen also brings more than a decade of creative agency expertise at the senior leadership level. During her agency tenure, she led comprehensive, cross-platform marketing and branding campaigns for major national accounts, such as CoStar, Sigma Tau Pharmaceuticals and a Marriott division. Kathleen is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Business Administration. Katie is the transaction coordinator for our team, listing manager, and helps out as a buyer's agent when needed. A strategic leader, Lee has an innate ability to connect with people and bring them together under a shared goal. Originally licensed in 1986, Lee joined Long & Foster in 2017 as its Director of Agent Development. She quickly progressed in her career at Long & Foster, earning a promotion to Director of Professional Development in 2018 and then Vice President of Professional Development in 2020. During this time, Lee achieved tremendous results for Long & Foster and its agents. She helped the company earn the exclusive Training magazine Apex award for exceptional training programs. Lee also seamlessly pivoted Long & Foster's in-person training to virtual during the pandemic, and she continually developed new and engaging content to support recruitment and retention efforts. Lonnie Plaster serves as senior vice president and regional manager for Long & Foster Real Estate, overseeing the South Carolina region. He also leads the company's Agent Services Group, a support program designed to assist agents in the functions needed to carry out, maintain and grow their businesses. With nearly 30 years of real estate experience, Lonnie built and sold two prosperous real estate companies - the second of which, Cowne, Odend'hal & Plaster, was acquired by Long & Foster in 2003. Since joining the company that year, Lonnie has managed several of Long & Foster's real estate offices including the McLean office in the Northern Virginia region, which achieved more than $1 billion in sales in both 2013 and 2014. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Long & Foster's D.C. Metro and Montgomery County, Md. regions. Michael Gorman is the Senior Vice President of Long & Foster's Corporate Real Estate Services Division. He also oversees Metro Referral Associates, Long & Foster's 2,000 agent referral brokerage. Mr. Gorman has significant front-line real estate experience, having managed real estate agents for many years and has conducted over 500 real estate transactions as an agent himself. He is the founder of Corus Home Realty, a technology-forward brokerage named to the Inc 500 and later acquired by Long & Foster. Mr. Gorman previously held management positions with AOL and Time Warner, and has also been involved with several early-stage startups. He has done extensive volunteer work, providing consulting services for multiple housing-related nonprofits in the Washington area. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, and the Relocation Directors' Council. Mr. Gorman holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He resides with his family in Arlington, Virginia.

Nick D'Ambrosia

Nick D'Ambrosia joined The Long & Foster Companies in 2009 and currently serves as the company's Principal Broker/Broker of Record. While with Long & Foster he has also served as Senior Vice President, Training and Career Development. He has been committed to the real estate industry since establishing his career in 1973 and has served in many diverse positions. Some of his current roles include serving as the National Association of Realtors' Liaison for Large Broker Relations, serving as an executive team member of NAR as well as serving as the governor-appointed chairman of the Maryland Real Estate Commission. Prior to joining Long & Foster, D'Ambrosia worked in a multitude of leadership roles. Patrick Bain is the president and chief executive officer of The Long & Foster Companies. He guides the strategic direction and operations of the organization's business lines: real estate, property management, mortgage, settlement services, insurance, moving, inspections, corporate real estate services, and new development real estate sales and marketing. In addition, he oversees six enterprise functions: human resources, legal, marketing, information services, finance and facilities. Patrick joined The Long & Foster Companies in May 2010, as president of the insurance and home warranty businesses. In 2018, he added Long & Foster Property Management and Long & Foster Rental Service Center to his responsibilities. He successfully restructured and rebranded the property management business to HomeServices Property Management in 2022. In 1998, Patrick founded and led sales and marketing efforts for InsRateDirect.com, an internet insurance startup specializing in home and auto insurance products, lead generation, and distribution.
