Junior Kindergarten Educational Assistant

I am excited to be part of the Maranatha family (in addition to working here, we have three children who attend Maranatha). Before starting here, I was at Montessori by BrightPath. My first jobs were in the Toddler and Casa rooms, then I transitioned to management (as Assistant Centre Director at the Labelle Street location, then as Centre Director of Montessori by BrightPath Lasalle & Lakeshore). I always worked on ways to improve the centre's programming and culture. Our family attends Ebenezer Christian Ministries. I have taught Sunday School since I was 18 and enjoy it still! My favourite parts are seeing the children learn about God's love and the Christmas worship songs the little ones learn.

My name is Brenna Martinez, and I am the Senior Kindergarten teacher at MCA. I attend Ambassador Community Church here in Windsor where I am blessed to lead worship each Sunday. I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors in God's Creation, playing piano, reading and expanding my collection of children's books. Maranatha Christian Academy holds a very special place in my heart. I first began my journey at MCA as a four-year-old JK student. I spent 14 wonderful years here learning and growing, and I graduated from MCA's high school. I feel so very blessed to be back at MCA again as a teacher.
