Barry Kirkpatrick

Barry Kirkpatrick, Chemist, has over thirty years' experience in technical management associated with environmental and laboratory processes . He has extensive experience in materials blending and data systems development. During the course of his career, he has developed systems to optimize chemical treatment in effluent environmental control in mining and optimize chemical usage in plant production systems.

Brad Youngblood

Brad Youngblood, a Registered Professional Engineer with McGehee Engineering Corp, licensed in the State of Alabama and the State of Tennessee, has experience in water quality, construction materials testing, and construction inspection. Brad has extensive knowledge in roadway design, highway construction management and hydraulic design. Brad also has experience in Stream Identification and Classification as well as Ecological Resource Assessment. In addition, Brad is knowledgeable in various design software packages and stream assessment protocols. Brad has extensive experience in NEPA requirements, planning and framework.

Bradley Vance

Bradley Vance, a Registered Professional Engineer with McGehee Engineering Corp, licensed in the State of Alabama, has experience in mining, general environmental engineering, roadway construction, and site design. Bradley currently oversees various construction projects and hold certifications in concrete testing, and density testing with experience and training in Wetland Delineation and Stream Classification. Bradley is a certified pilot experienced in aerial drone surveys and mapping.

C. W. McGehee - President

C. W. McGehee, president of McGehee Engineering Corp started the firm in 1989 after having gained extensive experience in the Mining Engineering Field. C.W. is a Registered Professional Engineer currently licensed in the states of Alabama and Georgia, with an inactive license in Tennessee. He has over thirty years experience in Mining, regulatory permitting and general civil engineering. He has extensive experience in water quality assessment, erosion and sediment control planning and avoidance, reserve evaluations, roadway designs, soil embankments, site plans, recreation parks, mining operations and mine planning. He currently serves on the Environmental Committee of the Alabama Coal Association. His commitment to finding solutions to environmental issues has been displayed by his enormous investment in MEC's state of the art environmental/biological/chemical laboratory.

Hancel Cox

Hancel Cox, a Professional Surveyor licensed in the State of Alabama has extensive surveying experience in mining and mining related fields. He has worked on many different surveying projects from inception to completion. Surveying experience includes surface mine, underground mine, boundary, quantity, topographic, subsidence, roadway, construction and GPS surveys.

John Allen Morris

John Allen Morris, Laboratory Manager, has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. John has extensive experience in laboratory management, environmental testing, construction materials testing, soils testing, and construction inspection. John also has experience and certifications in concrete testing and sampling.

Jordan McGehee

Jordan McGehee, Partner with McGehee Engineering Corp and Registered Professional Engineer, licensed in the State of Alabama, is a registered pilot that specializes in drone surveying, digital terrain models, orthomosaic raster aerial imaging, as well as a many other geospatial mapping applications. Jordan also has experience in water quality, construction materials testing and construction management. Additionally, Jordan has certification and training in threatened and endangered species surveys, and has training and experience in acoustical bat call analyzation.

L. Stephen Blankenship

Stephen Blankenship, Environmental Engineering Department Manager, is a Certified Environmental Specialist with McGehee Engineering Corp. Stephen has over twenty five years of experience in testing and construction inspection with extensive in-depth experience in Clean Water Act Permitting. He has experience, training and expertise in Wetland Delineation, Stream Assessment and Restoration, Stream Identification and Classification, Water Quality Assessment, Erosion and Sediment Control Planning, Boundary Surveying, Topographic Surveys, Global Positioning System (GPS) Surveys and Completed Training in Vegetation for Stream Restoration and Natural Stream Channel Design. He also has training and certifications in Threatened and Endangered Species Survey and Bat Acoustical Survey and Analysis. In addition he currently serves as IT Manager for MEC and is knowledgeable in Laboratory Information Management System Software, various computer aided drafting, modeling and analysis software packages and various stream assessment protocols.

Robert "Bobby" Usher

Robert "Bobby" Usher, a Registered Professional Engineer licensed in Alabama, Kentucky and West Virginia is also a professional surveyor licensed in the State of Alabama. Bobby has acquired over thirty years of extensive engineering experience in civil engineering, mining, and mining related fields. He has worked on many different engineering projects from inception to completion. His surveying experience includes underground mine, boundary, quantity, topographic, roadway, subsidence and GPS surveys.

Sanford Hendon - VP

Sanford Hendon, is a Registered Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Alabama with over thirty years' experience in mining and general civil engineering. He has extensive experience in reserve evaluations, mine planning and permitting, roadway relocations, stream relocations, roadway design, and heavy equipment operations. Sanford is also a Qualified Hydrologist State of Alabama and he is knowledgeable in various analysis software packages.

Wes Lamon

Wes Lamon, a Biologist who holds a Bachelor Degree in Biological Science from the University of Alabama has over ten years of experience in water quality testing, toxicity testing with experience in field evaluation and lab analysis. Wes has had training and experience in Wetland Delineation and Plant Identification. Wes also has extensive experience in performing habitat surveys for various threatened and endangered species and has training and experience in acoustical bat call analyzation.

Zac McGehee
