Sajiv Gupta is the founder-CEO of Metmaster Metals which he established in Dubai in 2006 to supply raw materials to various local industries tto cater to the Middle East construction boom. Under his dynamic leadership, the company has demonstrated an impressive growth on all major business parameters - revenue, volume of sales, product range, number of customers served and geography of operation. In the last eight years he has ably led the development and execution of the corporate strategy in line with the mission and vision of Metmaster Metals. With over 22 years of experience in sales/marketing and trading, Sajiv is focused on driving the expansion of the business for Metmaster's unique product range in new markets and strengthening its market position in the Middle East, India and African markets. Sajiv began his career with Smith Kline Beecham in Delhi as a Management Trainee. During his time there he was responsible for product management of Eno Fruit Salt and later as Area Manager for company's sales in Tamil Nadu. In 1986, Sajiv joined Mcdowells, Banglore, India as Branch Manager and later moved to Gillette, Delhi, India as a Regional Manager. There he led efforts to assist the organization with improvements in a variety of areas including sales strategy, product development and evaluation of industry opportunities. Sajiv moved to Lagos, Nigeria in 1993 where he joined Chellarams PLC, a leading trading/manufacturing firm as the General Manager for its trading division. In 2001, Sajiv relocated to Dubai where he worked for five years as a General Manager for GBA Products, a dynamic trading firm holding exclusive rights for many premium raw materials for the oil and gas, metals and infrastructure industry. Sajiv holds a Masters in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) after completing BA in Economics from Allahabad University, India. An avid golfer, Sajiv has a handicap of 15 and is a member of the Creek Golf Club in Dubai.
