Adriane began working with our practice in January 2021 first as a dental assistant and now also as our Treatment Coordinator. She has been a dental assistant since 2014. She loves working with patients and helping them to feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs, friends and family.

Amanda joined our front desk team in November 2021. She spent the beginning of her adulthood raising four children including a set of identical twins. Amanda is new to the dental world and looks forward to making it a long-term career. Her kind and personable nature welcomes patients and puts them at ease. She enjoys traveling and destressing at the beach in her free time.
Daniel Cox (Dan) is a third generation dentist and is Dr. Fernandez' father-in-law. Dr. Cox graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1970. After graduation he taught part time at the dental school and went into private practice with his father in Ypsilanti, Michigan. After his father's retirement, with the help of his wife, Patty, he ran a busy single dentist practice for 44 years.
During his years in Michigan, Dr. Cox was active in numerous community organizations and his church. In addition he served as President of the Washtenaw District Dental Society, Secretary and Trustee of the Michigan Dental Association and Delegate to the American Dental Association. He is a life member of these organizations. He is currently a member of the Tidewater Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Bunting Periodontal Society (past President), Vedder Society of Prosthodontics, International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy. Over the years he learned and performed a variety of dental procedures from the simple to the more advanced. He has a great interest in prosthodontic, restorative, implant and esthetic dentistry, but also enjoys other aspects of dental practice.
Dr. Cox and Patty sold their dental practice in July 2014 and moved to Virginia Beach to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. He enjoys continuing to practice the dentistry he loves part-time in our office and at the Beach Health Clinic where he is a regular volunteer. Dr. Cox also enjoys spending time outside at the beach, biking or walking and especially time with his three grandchildren.
Grace has been a passionate and active part of the dental field since 1999. At 16, Grace started her dental career as a registered dental assistant. Her passion inspired her to further her education by earning her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygienist in 2016. We were fortunate to welcome her to our practice in August 2022. Earning her degree did not come easy, juggling full-time work, full-time mommy, and school life was a challenge. Grace's determination proves that regardless of the struggles one may face in life, strength and determination will be the fuel to overcome any obstacle. Grace utilizes that passion to help her patients overcome their dental anxiety through encouragement, building confidence, and trust with each patient. Her empathy and understanding nature makes it easy for patients to feel comfortable. She is extremely devoted to educating patients on their individual needs. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, arts and crafts, aromatherapy, and spending time with her husband Brian, and their three beautiful children.

Jasmin graduated from dental assisting school in 2006 and we welcomed her to our practice in January 2022. Jasmin is passionate about her job and treats her patients how she would want to be treated. She enjoys learning new things in her field and it shows.
Jasmin stays busy with her three kids and renovating her new home in Virginia Beach. When she does have free time, she likes going to the beach, breweries and hiking in the Shenandoah.

Jennifer is our Business Administrator and Dr. Fernandez' wife. She graduated from Duke University in 1994 and earned her MBA from the College of William and Mary in 2004. Jennifer has been working behind the scenes with the practice since the beginning, and has gradually become more visible in the office. She enjoys number crunching and talking to people. In her spare time, Jennifer loves to be outside with her family on the boat, at the beach, or on top of a ski mountain.

We welcomed Julie to our front office staff in June of 2022. She recently moved to the area from Northern Virginia. Before her fresh start in dentistry, she worked for many medical offices performing office administrative, prior authorization, medical coding, and claims processing services. Her medical experience has translated well into the dental field. Julie excels at multi-tasking, schedule management and assisting our patients in a friendly and calm manner.
She is a professional singer and previously performed as lead showband vocalist for Carnival Cruise Lines. Julie traveled the world performing music and finally returned to settle down in Virginia. She is newly married to her wonderful husband, Connor, and a cat mom of two! Julie is loves being part of this fabulous team and looks forward to getting to know all of you!
Kelly joined our practice in March 2017. Her passion for dentistry began in 1998 when she became a dental assistant. She then went on to further her passion for providing oral health care and education to patients and graduated from Old Dominion in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. Kelly has been a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association since 2013 and is very active in her state and local component.
In her spare time Kelly enjoys camping and anything to do with the outdoors with her husband Chris and two kids Riley and Olivia.
