Charles Shoaf

Pastor Charles began serving as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Families in 2018. Prior to that, he served as a youth pastor in Connecticut and worked as a member of youth ministry programs in his home state of North Carolina. Investing in the lives of teens and children and teaching them about Jesus is his greatest passion. Charles graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries from Piedmont International University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He recently completed his Masters of Arts in Bible at Clarks Summit University and is currently working to complete his Masters of Divinity. Charles married Amanda in 2019. Together, they have have one daughter, Stella, who was born in August of 2021. They love traveling together, exploring the outdoors, and searching the world for the best barbecue and chicken sandwiches known to man. Charles also loves soccer, football, hiking, movies, and collecting vinyl records.

Laurie Gerry

Laurie has been a member of NEBC since 1984. She grew up in Wilmington, MA, with her twin sister, Lisa and brother, Phil. Before serving as church secretary, she was an executive secretary at Digital Equipment Corporation and Baird Corporation. Laurie and her husband, Dave, were baptized and married at NEBC in 1985. They have two adult sons, David, Jr. and Andrew and two granddaughters, Caroline and Addison.

Matthew Lourdeau

Pastor Matthew Lourdeau began serving as the associate pastor at New England Bible Church in July 2017. Previously, he was the youth pastor at NEBC for over six years.

Pastor Matt

Pastor Matt has an undergraduate degree from Columbia International University, and is currently engaged in post-graduate work at Reformed Theological Seminary. Matt is married to his high school sweetheart, Amanda, and they have four boys: Timothy, Daniel, Caleb, and Judah. As a family they love spending time outdoors, watching sports, and reading. As much as he can, Pastor Matt enjoys eating real barbecue and fly fishing.

Tyler Thompson

Pastor Tyler's history with NEBC goes all the way back to 1980 when his father, Chip Thompson, first began making plans to start a church in the Merrimack Valley. Tyler and his brother Andrew were part of NEBC's first service in 1982 and through the years spent many hours serving as greeters, ushers, janitors, parking lot attendants, furniture movers, and all-around church rats. After graduating from Cedarville University in Ohio, Tyler returned home to New Hampshire and became a local school teacher and coach. Before serving as Senior Pastor, he spent eight years as NEBC's Youth Pastor-first as a lay leader and then as a full time staff member. Tyler and Leslie have been married for 23 years and have four children. In addition to being a pastor, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family - skiing in the winter and going to the lake in the summer. He also loves to hunt, fish, and work in his vegetable garden.
