I enjoy working with Dr. Ego and our professional staff at North Fresno Dental Care. She is passionate about dentistry and making patients her number one priority. Dr. Ego also performs a variety of procedures, in office, for the convenience of her patients. I have always been a strong advocate of exercise, health and nutrition. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, growing Orchids, gardening, antique auctions and spending time with my family. At the end of the busy day, I go home to my three spoiled cats.
Dr. Tamie Ego completed her undergraduate studies from CSUF in Fresno, California, before attending dental school at UCLA in Los Angeles, graduating in 1990 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She continues to increase her knowledge of dentistry regularly through continuing education courses, and she has received advanced training in surgical implant placement and equilibration training. Dr. Ego is a graduate of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study.

Dr. Ego's father, Shiro Ego, opened his dental practice in 1955 after graduating from UCSF. In 1990, after her own graduation, Dr. Ego immediately began working alongside him in Fresno and had the opportunity to learn from him and his many years of hands-on experience and knowledge prior to his retirement. She has expanded the practice to include implants and bone grafting procedures, as well as utilizing other technologies to give her patients better and more advanced options to fully restore their oral health. Her dynamic team makes coming to work and helping each patient accomplish their smile goals a joy.
As a dentist, Dr. Ego is committed to providing awesome dental treatments so that her patients will feel good about themselves and happy with their smiles.
In her spare time, Dr. Ego enjoys dressage and jumping with horses.
