Bernard is a member of the Birmingham Bar Workers' Compensation and Solo/Small Firm Sections. He is currently serving on the Grievance Committee and is a past member of the Bar's Mentoring Committee. He is a member of the Alabama Association for Justice, Birmingham Bar Association and Workers' Injury Law and Advocacy Group (WILG). He currently serves on the WILG Board of Directors. Bernard currently serves as a Board member for Heart Gallery Alabama and has previously served as the Chair of the Alabama State Bar Workers' Compensation Section. He has also previously served on the Board of North-Central Susan G. Komen Foundation, and several local boards, including the Board of Directors for Temple Beth-El and the Birmingham Jewish Foundation. He is also the Chair of the Karen Entman Nomberg Legacy Foundation. Bernard has been selected for Mid-South, Top 50 - Alabama (2022). David is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation (ACJF) and is a member of the Advocates of Justice Society for ACJF. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar's Workers' Compensation Section. David previously served as Chair of the Birmingham Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Section. He is a past member of the Birmingham Bar Association Executive Committee and currently Co-Chairs the Fee Arbitration Committee. He is also a past chairman of the Fee Arbitration Committee and Member Services Committee (two times). He served on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Section for multiple terms. David is the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors for Heart Gallery Alabama and Chairs the Trustee Board for Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity at the University of Alabama. Steven D. Altmann

Steve Altmann has spent almost 30 years representing debtors and creditors facing the types of problems you're facing. Steve Altmann has represented debtors and creditors for nearly 30 years. He's admitted to practice before the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and the 11 th Circuit Court of Appeals. Steve is active in the legal community. He is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association's Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Sections. He was also recently appointed to serve on the panel of Small Business Reorganization Act (SBRA) trustees for the Northern District of Alabama. What's more, Steve serves as secretary for both the Temple Beth-El Synagogue and the Birmingham Jewish Foundation. In his rare free moments, Steve enjoys playing softball, golf and fantasy baseball.
