NORTHWESTERN REGIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY

The Northwestern Regional Housing Authority provides affordable housing for the elderly, disabled, and low- and moderate-income families throughout the northwest region of North Carolina. We have provided safe, affordable housing for tens of thousands of individuals and households with the assistance of our Public Housing and Section 8 Voucher programs. The seven counties that make up our region are Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey.
