In the year 1922, being inspired by Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy, the doyen of Indian Chemical Industry in pre-independence era, a Chemistry Professor of Vidyasagar College, Mr. Chunilal Dutta started an entrepreneurial venture, OSTER, for manufacturing mineral acids in small scale in Kolkata. Since then the unit has grown steadily to become a leading ISO 9001:2015 certified company engaged in the manufacture and supply of Inorganic and Organic Chemicals for laboratory & industrial applications in India...
