We aim to make as little environmental impact as possible and use a wind turbine to generate much of our energy. Recycling and composting are central to our philosophy and we provide suitable bins for each. Wherever possible we have used reclaimed and recycled building materials and supply coppiced wood from our own trees for burning... We are situated in Rendall, 12 miles from both Kirkwall and Stromness, making us convenient for the Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage sites as well as the Broch of Gurness, the Brough of Birsay and the ferry to Rousay.
