Paragliding is the simplest and most inexpensive form of human flight, but it requires a training course with experienced, certified instructors to fly safely. We have offered that instruction for over 23 years at Cobble Hill in Milton, Vermont. We have taught over 650 people to fly paragliders over that time. We know what we are doing... We also have the perfect hill for teaching paragliding. We created it ourselves just for teaching paragliding. It has a training slope with a 7 to 1 grade for short, ground skimming flights. A 75 foot launch, a 150 foot launch and a top launch 300 feet above the landing zone. This allows a gradual progression up the hill as the student demonstrates control of the glider... We also sell paragliding equipment from all major manufacturers including gliders, harnesses, helmets, variometers, wind meters and other paragliding equipment, books and manuals.
