PRINT-THROUGH RECORDS

Print-Through Records is dedicated to helping artists who have a similar history to Al and Jef, with their recordings sitting in boxes in their various basements, attics or in their truck beds rescued from their last divorce, waiting to be heard. So, if you are one of those artists, WE MIGHT WANT TO HEAR THOSE TAPES!... Print-Through Records was established by two guys who created their own music thru the late 70's and early 80's, using analogue equipment, ie: two cassette decks, an eight channel mixer and various outboard equipment (in fact, all the gear was marketed for budget-minded consumers and musicians). Over the years they discovered and collected hundreds of lo-fi self-made recordings and demos by many other similar artists, and finally came to the conclusion it was high time the world should partake in enjoying exactly those types of tracks, too.
