John Deschamps has served as Operations Agent, Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager and Branch Manager at various freight companies throughout his career. "While I was in college, I was working at an awning company in Pembroke, MA to help my parents, who were also putting my four siblings through school, pay towards my tuition. After I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Business Administration I decided to continue in the International Business field in freight forwarding". This lead to him partnering up with his longtime friend Kirk Koylion in 2009 and founded Radius International. John knew there was something special about it as they both complimented each other with their years of combined experience. "When I was approached with this opportunity, I knew going into it, it would take a lot of hard work and long hours, but I was willing to make the sacrifices". "Kirk and I were childhood friends and both of us being in the business, I knew we would be a great team. Kirk was very invested in sales and I was the operations guy. It was a match made in heaven!" John's contribution to the company is ensuring everything flows smoothly behind the scenes. Kirk often says "John is the glue to the company". He is the problem solver, he is the guy that everyone turns to for advice. "My ongoing goal is to provide a service above the rest that will ensure the growth of our company and it's continued success"! In his free time, John enjoys traveling, skiing and spending time with his family and friends.
