Aiko Wang is both a Registered Trustee in Bankruptcy and a Registered Liquidator. She began her career in the IT industry using both her IT skills and Accounting qualifications. She quickly advanced her understanding of the close connection between the IT and accounting worlds. With solid experience in the corporate side of the SME market, Aiko moved into the insolvency industry in 2013 to further pursue her interest in forensic accounting where she has thrived in the insolvency and forensic fields. Aiko further enhanced her qualifications and practical understanding by completing the Forensic Accounting Specialisation Qualification Program offered by the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand. Aiko is an accredited CA Forensic Accounting Specialist. Alan Cheung

Alan began his career in insolvency and corporate restructuring, forensic accounting and litigation support in 1999. He holds the Specialist Designation in Insolvency awarded by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), and is also a member of the Restructuring and Insolvency Faculty of the HKICPA. Alan is one of the co-founders of Wing United CPA Limited, a firm of Certified Public Accountants established in 2008. Before this, he spent more than 10 years in accounting and business advisory firms in Hong Kong, where he was involved in all types of insolvency and corporate restructuring assignments. Alan co-founded Rodgers Reidy Hong Kong in order to expand and build the capabilities of its insolvency, forensic and restructuring services. He works closely with his Rodgers Reidy overseas counterparts on cross border referrals and joint appointments throughout Asia. Career Highlights and Key Expertise Alan has been appointed by creditors as a Liquidator, or by the Court as a nominee, of various high profile insolvencies and estates with substantial assets. His appointments include a listed jewellery manufacturer, a major department store, an online bookstore and a sizeable construction consulting company. His more recent appointments include a large-scale LCD TV-Monitor manufacturer, and nominee of over 150 cases of Individual Voluntary Arrangements by the Court. Due to the social events and COVID-19 issues, in 2020, Alan was appointed liquidator of a chain coffee shop brand from Korea which has 5 stores in Hong Kong, a group of companies which manufactures and sales of high brand of garment shirts, handbags and accessories, and was appointed as receiver of the shares of a listed company in Hong Kong. In addition to his extensive insolvency management and corporate restructuring experience, Alan has also worked on various forensic accounting and litigation support assignments including investigation of accounting transactions, and the preparation of expert reports for Court proceedings. Andrew Barnden

Andrew began his career in Insolvency and Reconstruction in 1997 and joined the firm in 2011. He has a wealth of knowledge in Turnaround and Insolvency accounting experience in both personal and corporate insolvency matters. His expertise covers a wide range of industries, including the rural and agribusiness sectors, for which he has extensive knowledge and first hand experience. Expertise Andrew has predominantly worked in the insolvency and reconstruction market, ranging from sole traders to ASX listed companies, together with acting as a Trustee in Bankruptcy and also as a Statutory Trustee for Sale. His career includes working overseas on several multi-national cross border insolvency matters in Europe and the Asia Pacific. In addition, he has acted as an Expert Witness in respect to insolvency related Court proceedings and he regularly prepares reports to financial institutions as an Investigating Accountant. Andrew is also an approved liquidator by Liquor & Gaming NSW in respect to Registered Clubs and also an approved liquidator under the CATSI Act.
