Runner Duck Estate is all about combining our true passions in life - family, lifestyle and premium wine... We have now had many great vintage years in this region that has generally known one great vintage out of 5 prior to 2010 as the rule. But now we are back to more average years of not such great weather for 2017 onwards with 2019 showing promise... Vintage 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 were great years for quantities and quality of grapes produced and follows closely the great years for Matakana of 2010 and 2013. So watch out for magnificent wines from those years. Also, Runner Duck's excellent grape juice, as well as olive oil from its estate, are great hits.
