Dan F. Ricciarelli - CEO

Dan Ricciarelli brings more than 30 years of experience in architectural design, documentation, site planning and project management. Prior to joining Seger Architects, Dan worked for a successful mid-size Boston firm with a concentration in historic adaptive use, commercial, public safety, civic and multi-family affordable and market rate residential projects. Dan's experience spans multiple project types ranging from housing, public safety, schools, restaurants, office and religious facilities. Dan has recent focused experience with adaptive use of historic structures for contemporary uses. Dan has managed and overseen the award of more than $1,000,000 in historic tax credits to Seger Architect's clients with the restoration and adaptive use of the Historic 1784 Joshua Ward House as an Inn in Salem, MA and former Electric Trolley Barn adaptive use to housing in Salem, MA and is currently involved with another tax credit historic restoration in western Massachusetts. Dan, as Project Architect at his former firm, introduced and won the RFP for the restoration and adaptive use to housing of the Historic Salem Jail complex. The oldest operating Jail in the country at the time was rescued from its vacant and decaying state with the infusion of 23 new apartments, restaurant and Jail exhibit space. Dan continues to work on the project with the commencement of Phase 2 consisting of 13 new units set in this historic context. Housing is a another main focus at SAI and Dan is currently designing and managing a luxury six unit condominium on Good Harbor beach in Gloucester, MA which has been approved for construction and is set to break ground in summer 2015. Dan is also managing an affordable housing project community building renovation and expansion and larger multi-family mixed use projects. As part of his professional life Dan is involved as a pro bono advisor and project Architect for the restoration and modernization of Salem's Athenaeum, pro bono Designer and Architect of a new outdoor classroom pavilion for the Carlton School in Salem, MA, member of the Salem Open Space and Recreation Study steering committee and was instrumental in assisting the City of Salem being awarded a $400,000 State grant for the restoration and improvement of Splaine Park in Salem, MA Dan lives in Salem with his family, is a board member on the Salem Conservation Commission and volunteers for numerous Salem advocacy groups and causes.

John A. Seger

John Seger has over 15 years of experience in providing architectural services for institutional, commercial, and residential projects. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural Center. He is a registered architect in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and holds a National Architectural Registration Certificate. Prior to starting his private practice, Mr. Seger was a principal architect with SEA Consultants, Inc. His responsibilities included; managing budgets, coordination with staff and consultants, and lead designer. In addition to project management, he provided assistance with marketing, work load coordination, and was the lead architect for a sustainable design initiative for LEEDS certification. Prior to joining SEA Consultants, Mr. Seger worked for The Phillips Group, NYC, NY, David Jacobson Associates, Atlantic City, NJ, and Goody, Clancy Associates, Boston, MA. Julia R. Mooradian

Julia Mooradian has 15 years of construction management and architectural design experience. She received her Bachelor of Science from Babson College and attended Boston Architectural College. Julia brings marketing and construction experience to her method of architectural design and management. With a background largely in residential architecture, she is a client focused designer. Working closely with clients, Julia provides the expertise to generate projects to meet the client's needs while harmonizing with existing building, site and neighborhood.
