SIDNEY MUSEUM AND ARTS ASSOCIATION

The Sidney Museum and Arts Association, a nonprofit organization founded in 1970, is dedicated to preserving local history and promoting local and regional artists and appreciation of fine arts. We are member driven and 100% volunteer... The Sidney Museum is located on the second floor of the Sidney Gallery building. Built in 1908, it was the first Masonic Temple building in Port Orchard. The Sidney Museum features historic photographs of Port Orchard through the ages and includes a general store, school, doctor's office and hardware store... In 2010, the Sidney Museum and Art Gallery building was added to the Washington Heritage Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places. It currently is the only building in the City of Port Orchard to hold that designation.
