Welcome to Sacred Heart! My name is Allison Baskin, and I am the Spanish teacher at Sacred Heart School. This is my 16th year here teaching Spanish, but I have taught for 21 years total. I love teaching the Spanish language and culture, and I am still learning new words all the time. : ) I grew up in a Catholic School, and I am so proud to be a part of this school community. I learned Spanish as an adult after taking many college courses and spending time at an immersion school in Antigua, Guatemala.
Hello! My name is Amber Zachary. I was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Mississippi when I was 12. I graduated with a bachelors degree in elementary education from the University of Mississippi. and have recently earned my EL certification through Mississippi College. This is my 11th year teaching. I have taught first grade, kindergarten, and now third grade. I am a mom of two very active children and spend my free time at the soccer fields. I am looking forward to another great year here at Sacred Heart!
My name is Ann Lovelace. I am the middle school English teacher. I have been teaching at Sacred Heart School for 22 years. I hold the following degrees from the University of Memphis: Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master of Science in Instruction & Curriculum Leadership, and a Doctor of Education in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership. I have certifications in elementary education (K-6) and English (7-12). I love teaching children of all ages.
Hi! My name is April Wade. This is my second year teaching at Sacred Heart School, and my tenth year teaching. I have lived in many different states across the country. As a former military family, we lived in Hawaii, Texas, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, and Maryland. The Army life was a mix of excitement , challenges, and lessons in perseverance. I feel very blessed with the opportunity to live in so many different places and experience the uniqueness and beauty of each location. However, I am equally grateful for the chance to be back home in the Mid-South. After graduating from the University of Mississippi, I taught in DeSoto County for six years. I am the busy mother of three amazing kids. I enjoy spending time with my children, participating in church mission activities, volunteering with the Salvation Army, being outdoors, wathcing college basketball, hiking, art/decorating projects, and finding new ideas for my classroom. Most of the time, when I'm not at school, I find myself doing dishes, laundry, and going through the self check-out at the grocery store. I am so grateful for every single day the Lord has given me to be a mother and a teacher. A verse I have always loved is: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3-5-6. -

Hi, I am Jessica Bledsoe and I teach 4th grade Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion. This is my 3rd year at Sacred Heart as a teacher but I have been around for a while as a member of PTO when my brother was a student here from 2014 - 2020. Before coming to Sacred Heart I worked for DeSoto County Schools. I am my bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi in Elementary Education, I have my master's degree from Fort Hayes State University in Reading, and my specialist degree from the University of Mississippi in Educational Leadership.
My name is Jonathon Miller. I teach 5th grade Math, Science, Social Studies and Religion. This is my 16th year at Sacred Heart School. I have Master and Bachelors degree in Education from Christian Brothers University. I am very excited for another great year here at Sacred Heart!
I am Kari Garrison. I am the Pre-K 4 Lead Teacher. This is my 12th year at Sacred Heart School. The first 9 years I taught 2nd grade. This is my third year teaching Pre-K 4 at SHS. I did teach Pre-K prior to coming to SHS in Georgia and New Jersey. Altogether this is the beginning of my 21st school year! I have my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Mississippi.
I have been married to my husband Larry Garrison for 4 years. We have 4 children altogether. I have 1 bonus son Landon that is 19, 1 bonus daughter Zoe' that is 14, I have 1 daughter Kylie that is 17 and did attend SHS from 1st grade-8th grade, and Larry and I have 1 son Langston together that is 3 .Langston is currently attending SHS in the Pre-K 3 class.
My name is Kimberly Bradley and this is my first year teaching at Sacred Heart School. I taught in the Catholic Diocese of Memphis for 21 years. I have taught PreK-3, Junior Kindergarten, Sr. Kindergarten and Second grade. I attended the University of Memphis and received my BS in Education with a concentration in Integrative Studies K-8. I am a native Memphian and have two children; Abigail and Will. Will attends CBHS as a freshman and Abigail attends St. Agnes Academy as a senior. I enjoy spending time with my children and going to the lake on the weekends to relax. I also enjoy spending time outdoors. I am looking forward to a WONDERFUL first year at Sacred Heart!
My name is Krista Moore and this is my first year teaching at Sacred Heart School. I have been teaching for 12 years, 7 years of which were in the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. I have taught grades PK, Kindergarten, Second grade, and Third grade. I am currently teaching Kindergarten and hold a BaSd in Early Childhood Education from the University of Memphis and am licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi.
My name is Lena Collins and I am the technology instructor for PK3-8th grade. I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies for Professional Education from Christian Brothers University and Masters of Education from Union University. I have been teaching for 23 years with the last 17 years being at Sacred Heart School. I am married and have 3 children. This year will be very exciting in the computer lab for all students. Through very generous donations, the computer lab received a face lift. We are starting the year off with new computers and furniture. I am very excited to be your child's teacher.
I am Monica Winans. I teach 3rd grade at Sacred Heart School. This is my 27th year teaching. I attended Delta State University where I got my degree in Elementary Education. I have taught both 2nd and 3rd grades. I taught 16 years at a public school in Desoto County before transferring to Sacred Heart. I attended Sacred Heart as a child from K to 8th grade, so this school is very near and dear to me. I am married and have 2 daughters, 2 cats, and a dog. My oldest daughter is a junior at Hernando High this year, but attended Sacred Heart from 1st to 8th grade. My younger daughter is in 8th grade this year at Sacred Heart and will attend Hernando next year for high school. My family and I enjoy trips to the mountains, the lake, and watching movies. Some of my other hobbies include running, hiking, walking, and reading.
Hello! My name is Rae Rogers-Davis, and I have been teaching for 24 years. I have taught middle school language arts for most of my career, but I have been the librarian at Sacred Heart since 2012. In my free time, I like to read, do crossword puzzles, and scuba dive with my husband, Todd.
