Grayson Cordova has served as organist at St. Matthew's since May, 2019. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from the University of Mary Washington. Prior to his time at St. Matthew's, he served as a substitute at Trinity Episcopal Church in Fredericksburg, VA. On his free time, he enjoys working on his collection of old telephones of which he has 100.

Melanie is currently the music teacher at Chancellor Elementary School and has been for the past 17 years. There, she oversees the Special Area Department, as well as, teaches music to all students, ranging in grades Preschool through 5th grade. Sixteen years ago, she established an enrichment band program and was a founding member of the District XV Elementary Chorus. Melanie was the Director of Music for Tabernacle United Methodist Church for the last 10 years, but is now the Choir Director for her home church, St. Matthew Catholic Church, located in Spotsylvania. There, she oversees the music for all Masses and leads the Family Choir, as well as Cantors for Masses, including weddings and funerals. Melanie graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2001, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Music in Education. She currently resides in Spotsylvania County with her husband, Steven, and their two sons, Sean and Daniel.
