Born in Kitakyushu in 1946. A visiting researcher of UCL. President of ANS CONSULTANTS, Inc.; an urban plan consultant company. He has accomplished a creative research on symbiosis high quality urban plan, which was for applying to projects sponsored by NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) and other many large-scale development projects. gElgara h, the re-development project of east side of Tenjin, which he was involved in, recieved the 12th Fukuoka Urban Beutification Award in 1998. He is a re-development planner and an advisor on mobilization of private resources to port management. He is also famous as one of the plaintiffs who won a conviction against gun manufacturers in the case in which he sued it for its responsibility of producing guns because his eldest son was shot to death when he lived in USA to study.
