Dr. Abshire attended NC State University and received a degree in Animal Science in 2017, then returned and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2023. Dr. Abshire has been a part of the veterinary field since first working at a local clinic in high school. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, behavior, strengthening the human-animal bond and building a relationship with her clients. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé Zach and their 3 dogs - Tucker (black Labrador), Goose (Labrador/hound mix) and Kobe (terrier mix). She also enjoys traveling and trying new food places in her free time.

Dr. Bost and her husband Geoff live in Raleigh and have two young boys, Sam and Jack, a daughter, Ella, and a Lab Mix named Emmy. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.

Dr. O'Brien joined Swift Creek Animal Hospital in January 2014. In addition to treating cats and dogs, she treats pocket pets and reptiles.

Dr. Wu grew up in New Jersey and graduated with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University in 2017. Along the way, her love for animals strengthened, and she decided to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine. She attended University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris degree in 2023. Dr. Wu enjoys spending time traveling, trying new restaurants, playing board games, watching or reading a fantasy series, cuddling animals large and small, and becoming furniture for cats.
