Keith Bell has more than 25 years of work experience within Risk Consultancy covering: Chairing HAZOP/HAZID/SIL Reviews Chairing Project Risk Workshops Chairing Operability/Maintainability, MOPO and Bow Tie Studies Developing & conducting risk & safety related training courses Onshore/Offshore Quantitative Risk Analysis Simultaneous Operations Risk Assessment FPSO Quantitative Risk Analysis Subsea Systems Risk Analysis Emergency Response Exercises Software Safety Analysis Consequence modelling Quantitative risk analysis of airports Keith originally worked on North Sea projects both in London and Oslo before migrating to Asia where he is currently a Director of SynergenOG having served as Division Head at WorleyParsons Sdn Bhd where he managed a team of 80. He has both consultancy and engineering experience, having acted as a Lead Safety Engineer on several key projects as part of the WorleyParsons Engineering Team. Previously he was the Risk & Safety Head at ERM Malaysia helping provide consultancy services to industry in the region both through Formal Safety Assessment studies as well as Safety Reviews (HAZOP/HAZID/ SIL/ ENVID /Project Risk).

Co-founders Dr. Keith Bell and Puvan Balasubramaniam are both chemical engineers with enormous experience in process safety and technical risk management. Together, they decided to create a client-centric organisation dedicated to bringing about a step change in process safety and create greater awareness in the energy industry. Puvan Balasubramaniam has more than 20 years of experiences in Process Safety and Technical Risk Management, in both the North Sea and Asia Pacific regions. He has diverse experience in the offshore industry, both in consultancy and production operations covering: Process Safety Technical Authority for an operator Chairing HAZID and Bow-Tie workshops Chairing SIMOPS, MOPO, SOOB workshops Chairing ALARP workshops Safety Case Development and Management Developing Operations HSE Procedures Process Safety Management Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) Analysis Formal Safety Assessments Developing & conducting risk & safety related training courses Puvan co-founded SynergenOG to better serve the energy industry in the Asia Pacific region, following his return to Asia having worked in the UK North Sea sector for 11 years. Previously he was Process Safety Lead for Premier Oil UK dealing with on-going production operations, and new developments primarily during Concept development and FEED.
