Dr Maher completed his Bachelor of Dental Science in 1981 at the University of Queensland. He practiced in the UK originally until he moved back to Queensland where he has spent the last 30 years practicing. Prior to joining us as TDC, Brian was looking after the local community and visitors to the Gympie region but decided to be closer to home and share his passion with the Tewantin/Noosa area. As a member of the Australian Dental Association, Dr Maher has a commitment to ongoing education and aims to provide a high level of dentistry.
Dr Calvin Kundi, a graduate with multiple distinctions from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, brings extensive dental experience from his time in London. Originally from the UK, he now resides on the Sunshine Coast, seamlessly merging professional expertise with a vibrant lifestyle. Dr Calvin is dedicated to providing exceptional patient experiences, focusing on clear communication and a warm, welcoming environment. He takes pride in ensuring a relaxing environment for his patients. Outside of dentistry, he finds joy in travelling, football, and cooking reflecting his commitment to a balanced and fulfilling life.
Originally from Taiwan, John moved to Australia as a teenager and completed high school in Brisbane. After earning a Bachelor of Dental Science (Hon Class I) from the University of Queensland, John worked in general practice in tropical north Queensland for a few years. He has now decided to settle on the beautiful Sunshine Coast to be closer to his family and enjoy the coastal lifestyle. John is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry and is known for his gentle manner with patients. In his free time, he enjoys ocean activities such as surfing, scuba diving, and fishing.
