Our mission is to provide homes and services for people with developmental disabilities in a collaborative, integrated and diverse community located in a beautiful natural setting... The Tierra Learning Center provides homes and services for people with developmental disabilities in a collaborative and integrated community in which people of all abilities live as equal citizens with full respect for their human rights, freedom and dignity... We are a non-profit organization providing homes and services for people with developmental disabilities in a collaborative, community effort. The three programs at the core of our mission are: Coyote House, an Adult Family Home, the TRAILS Day Program and our Employment Services department. Surrounding these programs, Tierra boasts an Organic Garden, a Pottery Studio, a Preschool and a Retreat Center. Together, we all work towards a common vision of stewardship, inclusion, education and positive growth.
