Robbie Li

Robbie Li was born in a small town, north of China. Since his childhood he has had a passion for singing and making music of diverse styles on the guitar and piano. During his teenage years he took part in many different vocal competitions and performed at various functions and venues. Robbie's professional singing career began when he turned 16 and came under the tutelage of Hong-Hai Ma, Professor of Vocal Performance at the "Central Music Conservatory" in Beijing China. After 4 years of private study and preparation he applied and entered the "Tchaikovsky Music Conservatory" in Kiev, Ukraine, studying under Opera Laureate and Vocal Professor Alexander Diachenko . He quickly rose to the top of his class and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Music and a Master's in Vocal Performance a year later in 2010. Robbie not only has extensive experience in performance, but in teaching as well. Shortly after his graduation, Robbie entered and won 1st prize at the "Squilla Travnevyi Zorepad" International Singing contest, organized and funded by the "Ministry of Education and Science" in Ukraine. He has performed and given lectures in many places around the world includes Eastern-Europe, Asia and US. Personal concert at Hobby Center Houston in January 2014. Performed National Anthem in NBA Houston Rockets game, Toyota Center February 2019… Robbie is a well trained classical musician, also a contemporary/pop music singer and music instrumentalist. He has performed in many popular music festivals and concerts, still actively performing in local Houston area with his electric band.
