THE TALKING FARM

The Talking Farm is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that provides education, example, and hands-on experience to members of the community to expand the awareness, importance, and availability of food grown sustainably... The Talking Farm also leads off-site educational programs and teaching gardens throughout the local community. Our educational programs feature hands-on learning opportunities in the areas of urban agriculture, biodiversity, horticulture, and sustainability... The Talking Farm began in 2006 as an educational 501(c)(3) not-for-profit with the goal of connecting communities to the benefits of a healthy local food system. Today, we achieve that goal through the production, distribution, and sale of nutritious, sustainably-grown, local food, and through hands-on education, primarily in the areas of sustainability, urban agriculture, horticulture, and biodiversity.
