Adia Allen

Adia Allen joined Trenton Health Team in January 2023 as a Community Screening Specialist for the New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection Program, also known as NJCEED. Before joining Trenton Health Team, Adia worked as a Community Health Worker at Henry J Austin. She assisted the Contact tracing team with COVID Testing, scheduling appointments, and referring patients to other services if needed. Adia has worked in public health for 10+ years; when offered the position at THT, Adia was ecstatic knowing she would continue her heartfelt journey by serving the people in the community where she was born and raised. Adia loves fashion, traveling, and trying different foods worldwide. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her fur babies. In Adia's free time, she enjoys volunteering at several different organizations throughout Mercer County by collecting clothing donations and assisting with free community feedings.

Aida Martinez

Aida Martinez joined THT in March 2021 and now leads the Capital City Diabetes Collaborative (CCDC), an initiative which addresses major issues identified with treatment of diabetes in Trenton. Prior to joining the Trenton Health Team, Aida coordinated and oversaw the national screening program at the American Kidney Fund where she focused on raising community awareness about the risk factors of kidney disease, diabetes and high blood pressure by organizing free health screenings and administering kidney health education presentations in cities throughout the United States. She worked alongside many nursing students and health professionals to empower communities to take charge of their health and promote lifestyle changes. Community outreach and preventative education is something that Aida values in her public health work. Aida received her Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from the University of Maryland, College Park and is currently pursuing a masters degree in Health Communications for Social Change from CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. She hopes to strengthen her foundation in public health concepts and health communications to reinforce her work at THT. She is excited to join the THT team and to play an essential role in serving and empowering the Trenton community. In her free time, she enjoys watching and playing sports, particularly football, volleyball, and softball/baseball. She loves being active and spending time outdoors.

Alix Fellman

Alix Fellman joined THT in May 2021 as Director of Community Strategies. She leads the Trenton Neighborhood Initiative, which focuses on housing, economic opportunity, digital equity, and maternal and child health in Trenton's Choice Neighborhood. Prior to joining THT, Alix spent 7 years developing and implementing community development and affordable housing programs in the South Bronx, including launching a neighborhood small business revitalization effort, rebranding and expanding an incubator kitchen, and managing a portfolio of over 550 affordable housing units. She has a well-rounded background in the nonprofit sector, having also held positions in communications, fundraising and operations. Alix is excited to apply her diverse skill set to addressing social determinants of health in Trenton. Alix received a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from New York University. Alix grew up in North Carolina and spent 17 years in NYC, but recently returned to New Jersey, where she was born.

Amanda Mungcal

Amanda Mungcal joined Trenton Health Team in October 2020 as the Community Health Coordinator supporting the Care Management Team in ensuring Trenton residents are familiar with, and have access to, health services they need. Prior to joining Trenton Health Team, she served with the NJ Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (NJ EFNEP) through Rutgers Cooperative Extension, completing data entry and analysis of nutritional and dietary behavior. This work contributed to the improvement of community nutrition through evidence-based education, and to development of healthy lifestyles for individuals and their families throughout the state. After earning her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Rowan College at Burlington County, Amanda completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional Sciences concentrated in Community Nutrition, with a Minor in Dance, at Rutgers University. Aside from food, nutrition and health advocacy, Amanda is passionate about dance and her faith. She has worked with elementary school-aged kids as a Sunday school mentor and has choreographed pieces both at Ballet Technique of Hamilton Ballet Theatre and as a student choreographer for Rutgers Performing Dance Company. A proud daughter of two Filipino immigrants, Amanda is a native New Jerseyan committed to fostering relationships with, and providing care for, the underserved of Trenton. She is grateful to be a part of THT's vision to empower and support the Trenton community.

Ashlee Wynne

Ashlee Wynne came on board as a Community Health Worker for THT's Care Management Team in July 2014. She received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Delaware State University, where she graduated Cum Laude. Previously, Ashlee was a caseworker with Head Start in Trenton. She visited families in their homes to assess their needs and barriers to a successful transition to school for children. She was a Parent and Child Advocate and continues this advocacy in her CHW role at THT.

Aysha Justice

Aysha Justice joined Trenton Health Team in June 2023 as the Administrative Coordinator. Prior to joining THT, Aysha served as an Assistant Director at an Early Childhood Education School in New Jersey with the administrative team. Aysha also served as a receptionist at Atrium Health in Princeton, NJ where she assisted vendors, various departments and state services. Aysha has participated in charities such as NJ Rise and Make- A-Wish foundation. She enthusiastically joins the THT team to improve access to quality healthcare for Mercer County residents. You can catch Aysha working out, reading, swimming, spending time with family, or studying during her free time as she pursues her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Columbia Southern University.

Bradd M. Jackson is a native Trentonian, graduating with a degree in African American Studies from the University of Cincinnati. For over two decades, Bradd has provided leadership, creative direction, and structure to social service and non-profit organizations serving underrepresented communities throughout the tri-state. Serving over fifteen years as a multimedia consultant in the entertainment industry, Bradd developed an expertise and passion for communications, marketing, and content production. Seeking a more considerable communal impact, Bradd returned to Trenton, NJ, dedicating his gifts to improving the community as the Director of Operations for Trenton Circus Squad. In June of 2o22, Bradd was hired as the Director of Communications for the Trenton Health Team. "This is a fantastic place to work! I truly appreciate the passion and dedication that each of my colleagues has towards serving the health and well-being of the community at large," states Bradd.

Brianna Paden-Williams

Brianna Paden-Williams joined Trenton Health Team in June 2023 as the Program Manager, Policy and Advocacy. Brianna previously worked at LiveOn NY in New York City supporting older adults and the human services sector at large through the organization's external communications and public policy effects including the Reframing Aging Initiative to reshape how we talk about aging. As a New Jersey native, Brianna is excited to return to her home state to support the Trenton community and beyond to ensure we all have the services we need to live a healthy life with dignity. In her spare time, Brianna loves to practice yoga and meditation, discover new hiking trails or travel destinations. She holds a BA in Journalism from Rutgers University and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in social work at Rutgers University New Brunswick.

Charlene Phelps

Charlene Phelps joined Trenton Health Team in February 2021 as a Project Manager. Prior to joining THT, Charlene worked six years as a Network Operations Representative for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. At Horizon, Charlene was responsible for both voluntary and involuntary terminations of physicians. She also handled member complaints, contract management, ongoing monitoring of provider licenses and credentials, re-credentialing non-responders, and initial credentialing files. Charlene is excited to be at THT because she has a passion for helping people achieve their goals of becoming healthy and whole. Charlene was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. She enjoys basketball, going to the movies and hanging out with family and friends. She has strong ties to the Trenton community, having worked on several mayoral campaigns and growing up playing sports and volunteering with several local organizations. Charlene obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree (Cum Laude) in Business Administration and Management from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. Charlene also obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from Mercer County Community College in 2010.

Cheryl Towns

Cheryl Towns joined Trenton Health Team in 2018 as Nurse Case Manager and was promoted to Director of Community Care in 2021. She now serves as Chief Community Care Officer. In that role, Cheryl leads THT's efforts to provide care management and clinically-related services in our community. She supervises the Care Management Team, connecting more than one hundred Trenton residents with essential health services and providing direct care services when necessary. Through her CMT leadership, Cheryl helps fulfill THT's strategic priority to provide direct interventions with priority populations to fill gaps in care and services. Prior to joining THT, Cheryl worked for Oaks Integrated Care as a Program Supervisor in Supportive Housing for Burlington and Camden Counties. She worked closely with those suffering from behavioral and mental health issues, functioning as a hospital liaison, performing outreach, engagement and providing comprehensive rehabilitation needs assessments. A native of Trenton, Cheryl has been improving the lives of Trenton residents for nearly three decades. She holds an Associate Degree in nursing from Mercer County College, and Bachelor's degree in Science in Nursing from LaSalle University.
