Chris Werner was sworn in as Member of the Brighton Town Council on January 1, 2012. He previously served the town on the Parks and Recreation Board for 8 years and enjoyed 20 years as a girls' soccer coach serving on the Boards of Brighton Recreational Soccer and the Stormers Soccer Club and as President. He also served on the Board and as President of the Epilepsy Association of Greater Rochester. Chris and his wife, Lissa, have lived in the Brighton Struckmar neighborhood since 1988 where they raised their two daughters. He is an Attorney with 45 years in private practice and is Of Counsel with the Boylan Code, LLP law firm. He was an Assistant Professor at Monroe Community College in the School of Criminal Law and Justice for 20 years. He has served as a Trustee of the Monroe County Bar Association and as Chair of the Ethics, Professional Performance, Public Education and Bankruptcy committees. As a Member of Town Council, Chris has served as member and Chair of all four Town Board Committees - Finance, Public Works, Community Service and Public Safety where he is the current Chair. He is also liaison to the Parks and Recreation Citizen Advisory Board and was previously liaison to the Sustainability Oversight Committee. Chris is a graduate of SUNY Albany and the National Law Center at George Washington University..

The Chief Diversity Officer works on strengthening Brighton's identity as a community that embraces and celebrates people of all backgrounds and ensures that the Town of Brighton is purposeful in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in Town policies and procedures, and in the broader Brighton community. This position staffs the Town's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity Advisory Board.

Robin R. Wilt

Robin Wilt has been a licensed real estate professional for 18 years, and is currently the Principal/Owner of a proprietary real estate brokerage firm located in Brighton. In January 2018, Ms. Wilt began serving as the second African American ever elected to Brighton Town Council. She was re-elected to her second term in November, 2020. Ms. Wilt is married to husband Nicholas. Together, they have three sons, Benjamin Harris, Samuel Taylor, and Gregory Thomas. She is a founding Board Member of the Dartmouth Women's Rugby Club, serves on the Board and Racial Justice Initiative of Citizen Action New York, and is currently active in the Rochester Chapter of National Organization for Women, as well as a member of the Brighton PTSA, Brighton Chamber of Commerce, and Brighton Believes Council. Ms. Wilt is an alumna of Dartmouth College, where she studied Government, and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society. Robin's entrée into politics was as the co-founder of the Genesee Valley chapter of Progressive Democrats of America, a grassroots organization dedicated to working inside and outside the Democratic Party to advance progressive causes. PDA-GV organized voter registration drives; town halls; candidate meet-and-greets; and petition drives. Robin's efforts were recognized by Metro Justice at their 2009 Annual Dinner. More recently, Progressive Democrats of America was instrumental in recruiting Bernie Sanders to run for President in 2016.

The Supervisor is the Chief Executive Officer of the Town of Brighton, and is head of the administrative branch of town government. The Supervisor also serves as one of the five members of the Town Board and presides over all meetings of the Town Board. Bill Moehle was elected Brighton Supervisor in November 2011 and was sworn into office as Supervisor on January 1, 2012. He is also an attorney, who practiced law in the Rochester area for over 32 years before being elected Supervisor. He served for over 18 years as Attorney to the Town of Brighton, where he represented the Town in matters concerning all aspects of Town government, served as counsel to the Town Board and Historic Preservation Commission, and drafted laws and ordinances for the Town. Bill has lived in Brighton for over 32 years. He holds a B.A., cum laude, from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. He has been active in a number of community activities, including Brighton Rotary, where he is Past President and Assistant Governor of Rotary District 7120, the Brighton Chamber of Commerce, where he is also Past President and ex-officio Member of the Board of Directors, the Landmark Society of Western New York, Inc., where he serves on the Board of Directors, and the Monroe County, New York State and American Bar Associations. He has been a frequent speaker on municipal law topics to the New York State Association of Towns and National Business Institute.
