Angie was born and raised in Hong Kong, where she received over 10 years of British-Chinese education before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area to undertake her university education in Child & Adolescent Development and Psychology. Angie started her teaching career with Wah Mei School and later assumed the role of Program Director. Angie's bilingual-bicultural upbringing and academic background broaden her vision to integrate practices to foster children's appreciation of cultural diversity, preserve the Chinese heritage and set an optimal foundation for young children to become successful global citizens. Under her leadership, the Early Care and Education Program has been expanded to include Infant and Toddler programs across multiple sites.

American-born Chinese and native San Franciscan, after a decade in the private sector, Ben transitioned into the nonprofit world through various community-based organizations. His 30+ years of nonprofit experience includes direct service with children, youth, families, and communities, project and program management, and executive and board management. Ben has previously served as Program Coordinator at Community Youth Center (formerly Chinatown Youth Center) and San Francisco Community Health Center (formerly Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center), Director of the Chinatown Beacon Center, Interim Executive Director at Wu Yee Children's Services, and Gay Straight Alliance. He has also been appointed and has served on the Delinquency Prevention Commission and the Juvenile Justice Commission. Ben possesses a Bachelors in Business and a Masters in Counseling (Marriage & Family Therapy) and has an interest in education, child development, and juvenile justice.

Cody has 15 years of nonprofit experience in youth development and direct service, program development, and fundraising. She possesses a strong commitment to serving youth of all backgrounds with a particular focus on community building, leadership development, and exposing youth to new experiences. Cody joined the Wah Mei School team after working in the Chinatown community for 10 years, including Donaldina Cameron House, and currently oversees all school-aged programs as well as program operations.

Born in Hong Kong, raised in Sydney, Australia, and a San Francisco resident for 20+ years, Kelly received her BA in English Literature, Language, and Linguistics from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Kelly's career background is in the corporate sector and her work now focuses on public and nonprofit education. Her passion for bilingual bicultural education led her to Wah Mei School. Surrounded by dedicated and caring staff, Kelly takes great pride in working for an organization that provides bilingual education and child and youth development programs that are accessible to the community with no barriers to income, language, or culture.

Lily is a first-generation San Francisco native and immigrant from Hong Kong. She has dual advanced degrees in Dispute Resolution and Public Policy. For over two decades, Lily has been committed to advancing the power of marginalized communities. She began her career as an advocate/organizer and has held numerous positions at organizations such as Asian Law Caucus, Community Educational Services/Chinatown Beacon Center, Chinese Progressive Association, Chinese for Affirmative Action, Communities United for Health and Justice, and UCSF. Her professional experience spans a range of issues including youth empowerment, immigration, workforce development, affordable housing, and land use/CEQA processes.
Lily has an unwavering commitment to social justice and community empowerment. She believes that community-building and advocacy are critical to all social justice efforts.
