Vrindavan Indian Dance Academy (VIDA) was founded by Dr. Bindu Shankar in 2005 in San Ramon, CA. VIDA offers training in Bharatanatyam, a traditional South Indian dance form, and welcomes students of all genders, backgrounds, and levels of experience, starting at age 6... Vrindavan Indian Dance Academy's Vision is to share the practice of the ancient art form of Bharatanatyam with future generations... For the last two decades, Vrindavan Indian Dance Academy has been dedicated to preserving and sharing the timeless tradition of Bharatanatyam. This special recital is a reflection of the passion, dedication, and grace that each of our students has poured into their craft.
