Dan Browne is a internationally based consultant specialising in cultural differences and assisting in the merging of post conflict regional requirements and first world security concerns. Having been raised all over the world to expat parents he joined the US Navy and became a SEAL in 1997. His first tour was in 2002 to Afghanistan and he has been in conflict regions and the underdeveloped world ever since. HIs main strengths are in understanding the different cultural positions and motivations in a regions and translating that to first world operators to help them adapt their training in a manner that will be implemented to the greatest effect. Aside from Cultural Liaison work he has done the standard High risk security and surveillance work, target analysis, reconstruction, training, teaching and keeping his team and protectees out of trouble in some of the world"s most dangerous places in their times of greatest upheaval.

Dr. Ahmad Walid

Dr. Ahmad Walid graduated from Kabul Medical University on 2007 during the 4th year of the NATO presence in Afghanistan. He has worked as a physician at different hospitals in the capital Kabul, for a number of years. Since becoming a doctor, he realized the need to interface with multi cultures, Dr. Walid attended different training schools not only to extend his medical knowledge but also to obtain certificates in the English Language, Computer Training and most recently business management courses. Dr. Walid's first passion will always be related to medicine and to medical facility management as the Afghanistan environment changes. Dr. Walid comes from a background with experience in the import-export business; his family has been involved in the export business for decades in Afghanistan. They exported Afghanistan products; such as raisins, carpet, wool, pomegranate, nuts and certain minerals, they imported vegetable oil, tea, coffee and medicines from other countries into Afghanistan. Dr. Walid has carried on his family tradition and offers import export services to a wide variety of clientele. His commitment to the NATO vision is unwavering and he has taken many risks to support their mission. Dr. Walid is connected with the logistical trucking industry through his export business and helps manage a logistical company. Dr. Walid has adapted his skills and offered his leadership and managerial knowledge to local Afghan and International companies. He believes in the future of Afghanistan as a free and democratic country. He is highly organized and motivated for results. He was hired and assigned to the Executive Director position of Group-One Media, an Afghan owned media company that owns a TV station. In his term in that position he created and managed several successful media campaigns and helped produce a live show for the younger Afghanistan population to participate in having a voice for Afghanistan's future, a program well received. As Executive Director of Group One-Media, his operational, management and leadership skills has resulted in growth of the Group One-Media market share in a very competitive market. He has demonstrated an ability to keep projects on course, on time, and in budget. Dr. Walid, worked hand in hand with MPRI on a project at CSTC-A, in Camp Eggers. He brings excellent communication skills to bear with his relationships and is a true effective manager. Most recently Dr. Walid took over the CEO position of a construction and transportation company to increase their presence and sales.

James Berlingeri

James Berlingeri is a Veteran of Desert Storm and Desert Shield serving in the 24ID, 3/69 Armor Battalion mechanized out of Fort Stewart, Georgia. He is a business professional who has served both in the private sector as well on multiple active duty assignments in combat zones. Prior to joining Windrock Group, James was a Licensed journeyman electrician from the state of Texas, who has been challenged on large scale projects for 7 years, being responsible for leading electrical training course for code compliance and delivering project management to handle the challenges in multi-faceted electrical installation on $80 million dollar projects. James has worked on projects from the East coast to the Midwest. James has demonstrated exceptional ability to construct and facilitate cohesive teams, interface with public agencies, and liaise with key stakeholders. James still maintains his Texas electrical license as a journeyman Most recent James has focused on the international electrical sector in the theatres of Iraq and Afghanistan applying a strong expertise in electrical compliance on military contracted projects through the USACE and AFCEE who require NEC licensed journeyman on their projects. James has been associated with large prime contractors such as KBR, Aim, CH2M Hill, Verizon Business, all needing and benefitting from his ability to provide the knowledge and leadership skills to work in austere environments. He has a proven track record of being able to be dropped off at remote sites with limited resources and being able to get the project completed in budget and in a timely manner. In addition to his skills in austere and harsh environments, his ability to adjust and adapt to his surroundings and connect with people from all backgrounds has helped him to become accomplished in long-term strategic planning, client development, successful multi-disciplinary team management, and project delivery. Mare Elston

Mare Elston is a communications, advocacy, and public relations professional with over 18 years experience in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia; currently she works as a development and communications consultant, working in 'post conflict' zones. After completing her post-graduate degree in Cairo, she moved to Dubai, and built a successful career in PR and communications; she directed regional and international communications campaigns for private sector clients, Arab Governments, and NGO's. Since 2009, Mare re-directed her life to work in post conflict zones, first working as a consultant to the government of Libya, and identifying potentials for foreign investment in that country. She later moved to Afghanistan, and was involved in several important private sector and infrastructure development projects there. She is experienced in the management of donor-funded development projects, as well as donor and stakeholder relations, and project reporting. In 2013, Mare accompanied her husband for his work in Sierra Leone, in West Africa, and while in that country, she gave her time on a voluntary basis for several local business development initiatives and capacity building exercises. They had to leave the country, however, due to the outbreak of Ebola in their district. Mare's professional experience includes public relations, advocacy and community outreach, brand development, corporate communications, communications strategy and budgeting, journalism, stakeholder relation, project management and reporting, event management, crisis communications planning, internal and external communications, media training, and capacity development. Mare maintains residences in South Africa and Dubai, UAE, and she is willing and able to travel anywhere at short notice for long or short term contracts.

Mr. Steven Hulme

Mr. Steven Hulme is a Business Development Professional with over eleven (11) years' experience working with companies in developing expansion plans for their existing footprint or developing strategies to initiate a new avenue of income. He is versed in understanding cultural identity with the ability to work within different cultures; he has extensive global experience in management leadership. Mr Hulme's earlier professional career rotated around working in the UK in the security industry. He was involved in several large negotiated security contracts and was the initial point man for a security company's expansion strategy into the MENA region on a $50 million dollar contract. He was sent into the Iraq theatre in 2006 to set up an office and LSA camp for a UK/U.S security corporation, where he developed the companies U.S Federal Contracting relation. In Iraq his duties were country operations manager as well as holding the security manager/convoy commander positions, which included being liaison to all military contracting offices. Mr. Hulme joined Al Omar/Quality LCC of Kuwait City and Nasariya City Iraq in 2008 where he managed several camp operations under a blanket purchase agreement (BPA's) contract issued by the U.S Department of Defense. There he developed several contracts, including a base operations support contract utilizing 32 TCN electrical engineers for base support staff. In 2010 Mr. Hulme developed and negotiated several contract opportunities in Afghanistan, contracts awarded were through KBR /Flour /U.K Embassy/Australian Embassy/Iraqi Ministry of Interior. He is a highly motivated business development specialist who has developed several joint ventures with companies in the MENA region and has lead business contacts in Europe, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa in the areas of manpower, logistical supply chain, and construction to support contracts issued through the U.S military contracting offices in the MENA region. Since 2010 Mr. Hulme has been associated with companies from Afghanistan/Iraq/Pakistan/UAE. Mr. de Melo has successfully completed projects for clients with a wide range of needs on several levels, and in various areas, by utilizing both his skills and worldwide network of experts and resources. Mr. de Melo is an ex-member of 4 Royal Canadian Regiment Light Infantry, Close Protection experienced, DDR (Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration) certified who has studied in the Middle East, and has a background in Africa studies. He has independent and private experience in a variety of countries covering Central America to the Middle East and Africa. His professional experience and areas of expertise includes: analyses (geo-political, socio-political, terrorism, illicit trading, conflicts, economics, etc.); languages; close protection (CP); procurements and sourcing (e.g. equipment, aerospace, oil, defence, security, and personnel) for NGOs, private and government sectors; frontline; frontline observations; establishing and developing operations and training projects; country risk assessments; private security company assessments, internal reviews, and investigations; proposal writing; business development; marketing, and media and public relations; research; surveys and threat assessments, risk tracking; hostage negotiation; liaising, liaison officer and reporting/journalism. He has been based in the Middle East, mainly in Cairo, Egypt, for over 18 years. He has worked in varying capacities in various conflict and volatile environments in the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Central America; and he has a high level of on-the-ground experience and knowledge, perception, insight, and awareness of the historical, military, socio-political, economic, cultural, tribal, ethnic, and religious, complexities of conflicts, unconventional warfare, and terrorism. Mr. de Melo has a variety of experience in Africa, including as a Linguist and Liaison officer in security and close protection working, for example: with an African government and private sector client as a Liaison Officer and Close Protection expert; he has carried out gold mine security assessments and investigations in Ghana, oil security and investigations in Gabon, as well as front-line observations and analysis embedded with the SPLA in Sudan's war during Operation Thunderbolt offensive. His consulting services can help advise on risk mitigation, security management, strategic plans of action for companies, and governments, and government agencies, to help best meet their safety and interests.
