WHITTLED SANTAS

Each hand carved Santa is whittled from an 8 to 11 inch piece of 2x2 clear Canadian white pine using simple carving knives and gouges. The Santa carvings are lightly sanded and sealed then lovingly painted, lightly antiqued and polished to a soft warm patina, leaving a rich slightly aged appearance. We don't over-sand our Santa carvings and we regard the occasional imperfection and small crack in the wood to be desirable. We believe that this just adds character. We don't want our hand carved Santas to look commercially made... Hand carved Santa carvings, carved santas from Whittled Santas. Each santa carving is one-of-a-kind and completely hand carved.
