Prior to joining the Partnership, Amy held a number of senior roles in communications and engagement in the NHS; working at national, regional and local levels across both provider and commissioning functions. Biography Ben joined Imperial College Health Partners as Health Research Senior Manager in 2022. Prior to this, Ben was Operations Manager of the Future Vaccine Manufacturing Research Hub at Imperial College London, where he managed a clinical trial of an innovative RNA Covid-19 vaccine candidate in Uganda. He was also previously the Research Coordinator to a large research group at Imperial active in regenerative medicine, nanomedicine, tissue engineering, chemistry, and biology. Ben was a postdoctoral researcher and group leader in Berlin, Germany, active in biomaterials research, following his PhD in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina.

Carolyn Regan - CEO

Biography In December 2015, Carolyn Regan was appointed as Chief Executive of West London Mental Health NHS Trust, one of the most diverse trusts in the UK. She is also currently Chair of the London Mental Health Payment and Outcomes Transformation Board which reports to the London Mental Health Transformation Board. Carolyn is a highly experienced chief executive, both within the healthcare sector and the justice system. She established the West London Clinical Commissioning Group in 2012 after spending four years as Chief Executive of the Legal Service Commission. Prior to this, Carolyn was a chief executive at a number of NHS strategic organisations, including North East London Strategic Health Authority, East London and the City Health Authority and West Hertfordshire Health Authority. She has many years of NHS strategic and operational experience in acute, community and mental health services and also in the charitable sector in the UK and internationally. Carolyn is currently the Chair of Trustees of Just for Kids Law - a charity that provides advocacy, support and assistance to young people and children in difficulty - and a board member of the Press Recognition Panel.

She is passionate about quality improvement practices specifically using information technology to streamline and automate processes. Cat has worked as a Clinical Pharmacist in Brisbane hospitals in Australia. Most recently she was working as the Medicines Optimisation Project Management Pharmacist in Melbourne, Australia. She has previously worked for the NHS as an Operations Manager for Medicines Management at Central London Community Healthcare. Even though Cat is not a registered GPhC pharmacist she has been a lead for Non-Medical Prescribing, and Safe and Secure Handling of Medicines. Biography Clare joined ICHP in February 2020. Prior to working at ICHP she was a senior project manager at the London Cardiac Clinical Network. In this role, Clare was responsible for a programme of work bringing together clinicians, service users and system partners to reduce variation and lead transformational change in cardiac services in London. Clare has a clinical background in Occupational Therapy (OT), specialising in predominantly Stroke Care and spent several years managing both Stroke OT and acute medicine OT services in a large trust in North West London. She has a passion for quality improvement and assisted in the teaching of quality improvement at Imperial College Healthcare Trust and continues to coach QI methodology during her work today. She is also an MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) practitioner.

Experienced in designing and delivering improvement projects, coaching leaders, stakeholder engagement and implementing change, she co-founded the award-winning Imperial HOTT (Helping Our Teams Transform) safer surgery improvement programme and remains faculty for Human Factors training programme since 2019. She previously worked at St George's and Kings NHS Trusts as a lead therapy clinician and has done expert witness work within her specialist area of neurological occupational therapy practice. She holds a Masters in Rehabilitation and certification in Lean 6sigma and MSP Foundations.

Biography Joana is passionate about improving health outcomes through research and innovation. She has over 6 years of professional experience in Healthcare and Life Sciences across academia, charity and private sector. Before joining ICHP, Joana worked in the Strategy team at Cancer Research UK. There, she worked closely with the Executive Board delivering critical projects for the charity - from delivering a new measurement and reporting system to track CRUK's progress against their strategic objectives to developing a new Information Strategy to best serve cancer patients and the public. As a Strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, Joana delivered projects to Life Sciences and Healthcare clients including multinational pharma, biotech and private equity firms. Biography Professor Jonathan Weber is the Jefferiss Professor of Genitourinary Medicine and Communicable Diseases at Imperial College London, and an honorary consultant physician at St Mary's Hospital. He trained at Cambridge University and St Bartholomew's Hospital, the Institute of Cancer Research and the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, before establishing the academic department of genitourinary medicine, attached to the Jefferiss Wing, in 1991. He has researched HIV infection and AIDS since 1982, developing combination antiretroviral therapy in the 1990s. He is now working on HIV prevention through vaccine development.

Biography Kenny was appointed as Programme Director - Patient Safety at Imperial College Health Partners in July 2016, he is now the Associate Director for Quality Improvement and Safety. He is responsible for ensuring that partners set and pursue clear objectives for improving patient safety, based on the recommendations of the National Safety Advisory Group (Berwick Report) of 2013. His role also involves driving change and innovation in patient safety across the health and social care system in North West London. Earlier in his career, Kenny was a physiotherapist and he later held roles in clinical ergonomics and human factors in the NHS and local authority. Prior to joining the partnership, he held a director role in a consultancy providing risk management services to the NHS, local authorities and the private sector. He has two Masters degrees, firstly in ergonomics and human factors from University College London and secondly, in Integrated Governance in Healthcare. Kenny brings a range of public sector as well as commercial and consulting experience to the partnership.

Biography Kyle joined ICHP in September 2021. Prior to this, he worked as a research and evaluation consultant for third and public sector clients, including NHS bodies and local authorities. This involved carrying out service evaluations and strategy and best practice reviews across healthcare, employability, and social welfare. Kyle's work focused on services for those with multiple complex needs, health inequalities, and LGBTQ+ health. Kyle has a background in social research and completed a PhD at UCL on diversity and change management in contemporary archives and museums. While at UCL he also worked on helping measure the real-world impact of research done in the School of Life and Medical Sciences and co-edited the qualitative health research volume Immobility and Medicine (Palgrave Macmillan 2020).

Biography Logan joined ICHP in March 2021, after previously having worked with the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network where he gained experience of working on national AHSN programmes in mental health and cardiovascular disease, in both regional and national lead roles. Logan studied a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science at Liverpool John Moores University, before moving on to study a Master's in Public Health (MPH) at the University of Warwick taking a particular interest in global health and health policy advocacy. Outside of ICHP, Logan is also a member of the Board of Trustees and the incoming Vice-Chair for a Herefordshire-based charity called Hope Support Services, working to provide support to children and young people with a parent or significant person in their life living with a terminal or life-changing condition. Lucie trained as a Physiotherapist at The University of Birmingham and has worked clinically in acute trusts for 6 years. Since qualifying, Lucie has specialised in older adults and frailty, most recently working as a lead Physiotherapist in acute medicine at West Middlesex University Hospital. In 2020, Lucie completed an improvement and innovation fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where she led on a trust-wide project to improve outcomes for patients with sepsis, developed initiatives to improve delirium management and was involved in nurturing a culture of innovation across all clinical areas.

Biography Mark has been helping lead strategy within the NHS, with a focus on integrating care in London, for nearly ten years. He has helped organisations shape and deliver their strategies at all tiers of the public sector, including roles as: senior policy advisor at 10 Downing Street; Lead Strategist at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust; and as Director of Transformation for Southwark CCG, where he helped develop the foundations for Primary Care Networks (PCN) within the borough. Biography Matthew Chisambi joined Imperial College Health partners in August 2018 as an Innovation Delivery Lead and is now an Innovation Lead. He led several programmes across North West London (NWL) STP, including NWL's Urgent and Emergency Care Digital Milestones and London Ambulance Service Demand Management. A Physiotherapist by background, Matthew has over 20 years of NHS frontline clinical delivery experience. In the five years preceding his tenure at ICHP, Matthew worked as a Consultant Physiotherapist and Head of Musculoskeletal Practice for a leading community services healthcare provider. Leading multi-disciplinary teams of over 400 clinicians, Matthew oversaw the provision of innovative and transformational community Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment, Persistent Pain, Rheumatology and First Contact Practitioner services serving over 375k patients and 50+ NHS Trusts/ CCGs. Matthew has spent over ten years in NHS London Teaching Hospitals in various clinical and leadership roles. Alongside his frontline roles Matthew served for eight years as London representative on the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Council. He served terms as the Chair on both Research and Development, and Practice and Development Committees during this time. Matthew is passionate about innovation, quality improvement, patient engagement and public health.
