I am a dedicated and experienced Learning Disability and Community Specialist Nurse (Learning disabilities) with a passion for improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in both clinical and operational roles, working across a range of services that support people with learning disabilities autism and complex care needs. My career has focused on providing person-centered care to individuals with learning disabilities and autism and their families to provide high quality person centred care.
I began my journey in nursing with a strong commitment to understanding and supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Over time, I transitioned into leadership and management roles, where I took on the responsibility of overseeing the operational aspects of learning disability services and autism. In these roles, I have worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care. I have also been responsible for managing resources, improving service efficiency, and driving initiatives that promote better outcomes for both service users and staff.
I arrived in London in 2006 to pursue higher education. After completing my BA (Hons) in Marketing, I joined Marcus & Marcus in 2009.
I began my journey at Marcus & Marcus as a Support Worker, progressed to the role of Care and Support Manager, and currently serve as the Operations Manager. During this time, I also achieved a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.
