Dawn-Marie has over 20 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist. She is very knowledgeable and skilled at all things administrative at the front desk. She loves connecting with patients to learn more about them and to see how she can help them to the best of her abilities.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, walking her dogs, managing her bee hives to make honey, and spending time with her two adult children.
Dr. Alexandra Blake was born and raised in Tillsonburg, Ontario. She attended Western University to obtain her Undergraduate Degree in Biomedical Science and completed her Master of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology. She then attended the University of Toronto for dental school. While in dental school, she was very involved in research, working as a summer student researching oral cancer malignancy markers. She was part of the Summer Emergency Program as a third and fourth-year student helping patients while school was out for the summer. After she graduated in 2019, she began her dental career working in Hamilton.
Dr. Blake loves interacting with her patients and leaving them with a positive dental experience. To have a patient tell her they had a painless visit is the biggest compliment for her. She prides herself in being able to connect and sympathize with her patients in order to deliver the best and most appropriate care. Dr. Blake has always wanted to be a dentist. She thoroughly enjoyed her own dental appointments with both her family dentist and her orthodontist, who gave her a great patient experience and sparked her pride in her own oral health from a young age.
Dr. Blake lives with her husband in Hamilton, where they enjoy all things outdoors, including hiking the escarpment close to their house, boating in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
Dr. Marilyn Gregus is a native Hamiltonian currently residing in Ancaster. She has practiced dentistry for over 30 years in the local area. She had the honour of working in and eventually taking over her father's dental practice, Dr. Walter Gregus after she graduated from dental school at the University of Toronto. Dr. Gregus is known for her caring and humorous personality and exceptional dental work. She has perfected quality care in a relaxing environment. Dr. Gregus has been involved with many charitable organizations and causes in the local community.
She loves connecting with patients and their families and learning about their personal hobbies and passions. As a natural athlete, she excels in all sports but is an avid and talented golfer and skier. She is working through her travelling bucket list, including climbing Machu Picchu, riding on a Safari in Africa, golfing in Ireland, and skiing the best mountains in North America. Recently, she has taken up the up-and-coming sport of Pickleball and has developed a passion for it.
Dr. Michael Tiedemann attended Western University, where he obtained three degrees. On top of his undergraduate degree in chemistry, he also holds his Ph.D. in Chemistry, where he has published 9 articles. Dr. Tiedemann finished his dental degree at Western University with honours. He was his fourth-year class president and activity participated in extra-curricular activities, including dental research and numerous dental social committees. He is also currently taking his oral sedation certification course at his alma mater. Dr. Tiedemann believes in compassionate dentistry with a strong foundation in an evidence-based approach. He strives to have a positive interaction with his patients, leaving a great impression as well as impeccable attention to detail in his work. When not in the office, Dr. Tiedemann enjoys hitting the road on his mountain or road bike, scuba diving, playing board games, beer brewing, and paintball. A Native of Sudbury, he now calls Hamilton home.
Dr. Varsha Santhanam was lucky enough to study dentistry in beautiful Sydney, Australia. After graduation from the Doctor of Dental Medicine program, she returned to Canada to work in Ottawa and Toronto, and now in Hamilton. Dr. Varsha, as we refer to her, offers treatment for all aspects of dentistry, including Invisalign orthodontics, implant restorations, crown and bridge, root canals, oral surgery, dentures, fillings and gum treatments. She is certified in nitrous and oral sedation and provides this service to patients who are nervous about dental treatment or who have anxiety. Dr. Varsha is passionate about educating her patients and connecting with them to ensure she understands and meets their dental concerns and needs.
Dr. Varsha lives in Burlington with her family, including one young son. She loves travelling and hopes to plan some exciting trips in the future.
