ALEXANDRA LIBBY

Alexandra Libby Has a Doctorate in History of Art from the University of Maryland-College Park. She formerly served as the Assistant Curator of European Art at the Ringling Museum of Art and has held various curatorial positions at the National Gallery of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Through her work, Ms. Libby has performed extensive art historical research and art appraisals for private insurance, public exhibition, and publication purposes on artworks of a variety of periods and styles, including Old Master paintings and drawings, European decorative arts, American prints, and contemporary art installations.

Diala Toure

Diala Toure is the owner and principal of Appraisals of Value, LLC. An independent personal property appraiser, Dr. Toure received her Certificate in Appraisal Studies from SUNY Purchase College (in conjunction with the American Society of Appraisers) and her Doctorate degree in History of Art from the University of the Sorbonne in Paris. An expert in African art, Diala is currently candidate for accreditation. Dr. Toure appraises private, institutional and corporate collections. She consulted with world-class museums such as the National Museum of African and Oceanic Art in Paris, the Barnes Foundation, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology to name of few. She lectured at elite institutions (University of Pennsylvania, Bryn Mawr College, University of California at Berkeley) and served as curator of collections at the James E. Lewis Museum of Art in Baltimore for several years.

Katelyn Kazan

Katelyn Kazan received her Masters of Fine and Decorative Arts from the University of Manchester through Sotheby's Institute in London. Ms. Kazan completed her undergraduate work at Bryn Mawr College where she received a Bachelor's degree in History of Art with a minor in English. Fluent in French, Katlyn is currently based in London.

NICOLE PATERSON

Nicole Paterson received her Master of Arts degree in Historical Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Certificate in Museum Collections Management and Care from The George Washington University. As museum registrar at the James E. Lewis Museum of Art, Ms. Paterson oversees all facets of collections management and administration within the Collections Department. Her responsibilities include monitoring legal and ethical implications of museum transactions; development and implementation of collections care standards and policies. Nicole previously worked at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum where she analyzed and distilled donor, accession file, and legacy information to create accurate and informative collection and item records. She helped to establish standards, authority, and field definitions for the Pastperfect database and Library of Congress. Nicole also served as the Registrar and Senior Staff for the Archaeological Expedition to Idalion, Cyprus. She oversaw and completed registration of all material culture excavated from the site while instructing undergraduate field school students in the excavation process, artifact registration, proper field identification of artifacts, and related skills.
